Sir, I have got admission in BTech in Civil Engineering through Lateral Entry in SEC-Bhubaneswar. I want to know about the approval of this institute. I would like to know that is this institute approved by UGC or not?

Yes, it is approved by AICTE and UGC if you have got admission through engineering entrance exam of the state or national level in a regular mode B.Tech course. Only those engineering courses which are offered in distance mode are not approved by AICTE and UGC.

Hence, if you have taken admission in a regular course at a recognized engineering college approved by AICTE, then you should not worry about anything.
