Dear Sir, My name is Tarun Bhatt from rajasthan. I have done B.E. with Mechanical engineering.
Now i want to make my career in field of Motor & Industrial Insurance Surveyor. So i want to know about eligibility criteria and procedure of licence. So please give me some guidance of some below questions.

1)Eligibility criteria for Motor & Industrial Insurance surveyor.
2)Procedure of registration
3)If required any training; training centres, duration of training,fees etc.

The aspirant should have a degree or diploma in any branch of engineering or be a qualified charted accountant or he should be an associate member of the Insurance Institute of India. As per the current norms, you are eligible to apply for a surveyor's license in line with your area of specialization only.

How to become Motor & Industrial Insurance Surveyor? Duration, fees and eligibility?

The aspirant must have a degree or diploma in any branch of engineering or he/she should be an associate member of insurance institute of India.
One is eligible for surveyor 's licence in line with your area of specialisation.

After ascertaining the qualification criteria, one has to enroll as a trainee surveyor with IRDA and complete a 1 year training under a senior surveyor.
Then one can appear for exam which is conducted every 3 months by Insurance Institute of India.
