Re: Upcoming SCRA Exam in this year? hi dear, This year's SCRA exam is already conducted on 31 /7 /2011(Sunday). So if you want to give the exam ,you have to appear for the SCRA exam 2012. Important dates for SCRA exam 2012- Date of Notification = 15/10/2011 Last date of Receipt of Applications = 14/11/2011 Date of commencement exam = 29/1/2012 Thank you ~manoj` |

Special Class Railway Apprentices To apply for this examination you must have to complete your 12Th examination with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination And your age should between 17 to 21 Years. For this Year the SCRA Examination was Going to be Held on 31/07/2011. The Last date of apply for This examination was already Over and The last Date of apply for SCRA Examination was 25/April/2011. |

Re: Upcoming SCRA Exam in this year? scra exam is conducted by upsc in the month of june/july every year. its taken once a year and its notification can be found in the employment news. its syllabus closely corresponds tom the engg. entrance exams. hence preparing for engg. entrance will suffice for scra as well. |

For this examination,the candidate age should between 17 yrs to 21 yrs of age. Important dates of this year examination :- Date of Notification : 26.03.11 Last date of receipt of application : 25.04.11 Date of Examination : 31.07.11 So,this year last date of submission was already over..... The SCRA exam is the Special Class Railway Apprentice exam conducted every year by the UPSC. It provides the engineering degree in the mechanical field and it gives the job straightaway after the completion of the course. The course duration is 3 years. The latest upcoming exam of the SCRA for this year is going to be conducted on the 31-07-2011. And the last date to fill the form was 24-04-2011 . So this year you will not be able to give the exam but then you can apply next year in the same months. The eligibility for this exam is a pass in the 10+2 exam with a minimum of the first division or the second division from a recognized board with maths , physics and chemistry as their compulsory subjects. And the age limit is 17 years to 21 years for the general category students and there is relaxation on upper age limit for the OBC (of 3 years) and for the SC/ST (5 years).
