SCRA Stands for Special Class Railway Apprentices And the examination was Conducted by UPSC Every Year.

And To apply for this examination you must have to complete your 12Th examination with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination And your age should between 17 to 21 Years.

For this Year the SCRA Examination was Going to be Held on 31/07/2011.

The Last date of apply for This examination was already Over and The last Date of apply for SCRA Examination was 25/April/2011.

And If you have already apply for this examination and You will not Received Your SCRA Examination Admit Card Yet, Then Please Visit the UPSC website and Download your Venue Information.

Hello friend .....

The SCRA exam is the Special Class Railway Apprentice exam conducted every year by the UPSC.
It provides the engineering degree in the mechanical field and it gives the job straightaway after the completion of the course. The course duration is 3 years.

The latest upcoming exam of the SCRA for this year is going to be conducted on the 31-07-2011.

And the last date to fill the form was 24-04-2011 .
So this year you will not be able to give the exam but then you can apply next year in the same months.

The eligibility for this exam is a pass in the 10+2 exam with a minimum of the first division or the second division from a recognized board with maths , physics and chemistry as their compulsory subjects.
And the age limit is 17 years to 21 years for the general category students and there is relaxation on upper age limit for the OBC (of 3 years) and for the SC/ST (5 years).

SCRA(Special Class Railway Apprentices) examination is Conducted by UPSC every year.

*To apply for this examination you have to complete your 12Th examination with Mathematics and also have the subjects Physics and Chemistry.

So,this year last date of submission was already over.....

So,apply for the next year examination.The Notification was published in the month of March or April in official website or employment news papers.

scra exam is conducted by upsc in the month of june/july every year. its taken once a year and its notification can be found in the employment news. its syllabus closely corresponds tom the engg. entrance exams. hence preparing for engg. entrance will suffice for scra as well.
