well it depends on each year cut off in gate bt in general u should score 96 percentile above ur probability to get a iit seat more even some nits r better in most fields which u choose like nit durgapur n warrangal in bioprocess technology. good luck

You can also Choose marketing of some bio related products and also you can choose after sales also. If all the above does not work with NET SET exams cleared you can choose to become Lecturer and now a days Lecturer's are also paid handsome salary. You need to do a PG and followed by a doctorate technically you have to be very sound and good in computer's and good written and verbal English communication can be an added advantage.
