Re: Is NTSE for only 8th standard students? Candidates must be a class Xth student from a recognised university. Candidates must have a 60%marks in the previous year's annual examination. And yes 8th standard students is for NTSE. |

Re: Is NTSE for only 8th standard students? I am sorry but there have been modifications in rules of NTSE from 2006. Before 2006, all students studying in Class 10th in any type of recognized school were eligible to appear at the state level examination from the state in which the school is located. But from 2006 onwards, a separate examination for Class VIII was started. From 2008-2009 '''National Talent Search examination'' is being held only for class VIII. |

Hello Friend ,  National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national-level scholarship program in India to identify and recognize students with extremely high intellect and academic talent. This exam is conducted every year by NCERT . The scheme is open to students of Indian nationality. Only students studying in Class X are eligible to appear for the selection process. Friend , NTSE EXAM previously it was for class 8 students , but From this year NTSE exam is only for class 10 students . HI, Eligibility required for appearing in this exam Educational qualification :- -->>You should be passed out in class 9 from Recognized board. Exam Pattern :- -->>Written Exam. -->>Interview. Syllabus for Written Exam :- -->>Scientific Aptitude Test. -->>Essay related to scientific theme. Exam Pattern :- -->>Total Number of questions will be 200. -->>Total duration for this exam will be 3 hours. Other Important Details Only Top 350 Candidates will be selected for this Program-me. The Scholarship Amount will be Rs 500/Month. During the Time of Interview,you will have to submit one project related to science subject which is based on your Syllabus. HI, SORRY TO SAY THAT, NTSE IS ONLY FOR 8TH STANDARD STUDENTS. |

Re: Is NTSE for only 8th standard students? Don't feel be happy.In NTSE, if you pass, they will give₹500 - >₹2000 but opnly one chance in life. many people in India don't know this think positive. Think that you are fresh.Now you don't know about NTSE ok.. be cheerful. I too wrote it I worked very hard. but no use... according to actual answers,I have to get but my fortune reversed and the key turned reverse to me. Bad luck... any way. Cheer others like me. Write any exam taking not so serious. If it comes, then enjoy. Expect less and feel happy if you get more. -Student,part of Gems group of companies) |
