Re: what are group exams? hi dear, if you are asking for tnpsc , then its full form is Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) every year the exam is conducted group wise having different eligibility and posts ..... generally there are 4 groups with minimum eligibility of graduation..... for more information and notification you can log on to the official website :- http://www.tnpsc.info/ you can also register online for the exams at :- http://tnpsconline.tn.nic.in/ thanks |

Re: what are group exams? hi civil sevice exam are group exam. The civil services examination is conducted every year by the union public service commission (UPSC). As a common examination for various services like the IAS, IFS, IPS, GROUP A & GROUP B Central service. The notification for the examination is published in the month of December every year in employment news/Rojgar samacar Services/posts to which recruitment is to be made through the Examination are : (i) Indian Administrative Service.(DISTRICT MAGISTRATE / DISTRICT COLLECTOR) (ii) Indian Foreign Service.(AMBASSADOR) (iii) Indian Police Service.(SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE / D.C.P.) Re: what are group exams? TNPSC group exams are just like other state public service commission exam,it has four groups 1,2,3 and 4. Since,you are an engineer,I will advice you to go for group-1 and 2. Group-1 consists of mainl executive posts like executive engineer,deputy collector etc. Group-2 consists of post like junior engineer,sub-megistrate,municple commissioner etc. Last date for applying for group-2 was 30.12.2009 whic is over,however you can appear for group-1 last date for online application is 27.01.2010,from its official website link given below. |
