I have 1 year gap in BCA degree so i will be eligible for tcs, wipro or infoysis company. I passed 10th,&12th in aggregate 60% and also passed bca in 62% i will eligible for this company.

Hello.

Yes,you are eligible for 1 year gap in the top MNC companies (like TCS,INFOSYS,WIPRO).

You have to fulfill the listed below criteria :-

You have passed 10th with minimum 60% of marks and from a recognized board.
You should have also passed 12th with minimum 60% of marks from a recognized board.
You should not have any backlog in graduation or degree program.
You should have scored minimum 60% of marks in graduation also.

MNC companies don't allow students which have maximum 2 years of gap.

I f you fulfill the above listed criteria then you are eligible.

Hello.

Their criteria is listed below:-

You should have at-least minimum 60% of marks in class 10th and should be passed from a recognized board.
And minimum 60% of marks in class 12th and should be passed from a recognized board.
You should have passed graduation or degree program with minimum 60% of marks with no backlogs.
You should have good command in English.
You not need to worry they used to take the candidates with minimum 1 year of gap.

Yes , you are eligible to seat in the interview of the companies as mentioned above so you don't have to woty for the consequences of academics gap .
As most the it companies look for the talent and skilled people rather than mere good academia with no year gap .
As per your academic percentage are good enough to get into the best and reputed companies all you have to acquired good programming and subject knowledge of your stream.

I would like to clear the myth that due to year gap companies do not select candidates.as it is totally wrong as most of candidate are top position are also year gap or dropouts one.
So you should plan on your studies and subject knowledge and ultimately you will be selected and pursue your career as good it experts.

Obviously you will be eligible for companies placement like TCS,INFOSYS,WIPRO,1 year gap is not countable.

Eligibility:-

1)Candidates to obtain 60% marks or more in their academic career like in 10th,12th and in b.tech degree.

2)Candidates should have knowledge in computer language like dotnet/java/sap etc.

3)Candidates should have excellent knowledge in communication language.

4)More than 1/2 years gap during the entire academic career is not allowed.

According to your statement you have above eligibility so that you need not worry, easily you will be absorbed by these companies placement campaign.

i got one history of arrear in my under graduation and in my mca i have 8 cgpa. my 10th and 12 th academics are good. i got selected in robert bosch for intern my. They said no history of arrears and my placement officer is telling it is only for pg. so i am eligible. But the hr asked me do you have in your ug. will they reject me after refering my documents

I passed my class 10th exam in 2005 with an aggregate of 77.5% and passed my class 12th exam in 2008 with an aggregate of 89.8%. I took admission in engineering in 2008.My stream is I.T with 75.81%. I joined in MSIT and I got 87.7%. I have 1 year gap after 10th class and 1 year after B.Tech(I did job in IT company 6 months). Am i eligible for TCS, Wipro, Infosys..etc.

Sir, actually i'm now a student of B.C.A.... Bt, after i have passed my 12th, i was doing english honours from calcutta university... Bt after 2yrs. of eng hons course, i left that course due to some reason and got admitted in b.c.a course under wbut... and now i'm in final yr of b.c.a with 80% and above marks in b.c.a course... nd with 74% marks in 10th and 60% marks in 12th... so,AM I ELIGIBLE FOR PLACEMENTS IN COMPANIES LIKE TCS,WIPRO,INFOSYS,TECH MAHINDRA HAVING 2 YEARS OF GAP BETWEEN MY 12TH AND THE B.C.A COURSE WHICH I'M DOING NOW?

Sir,you are eligible for placement insoftware companies like TCS, Wipro or Infosys. One year gap is allowed. And at least aggregate 60% marks is required for TCS or Wipro and 65% marks for Infosys in 10th board, 10+2 and in graduation. You satisfy all the criteria properly. So, you don'tneed to worry at all.

You are eligible for all these companies you have mentioned.
All these companies allow students with min 2 backlogs in BE, and min 60 % aggregate in BE for TCS,70% fo IBM,65% for INFOSYS.

If you get above 75% in BE<PU AND SSLC then you are eligible for DIRECT INTERVIEW.

Here is the criteria details for you :

TCS criteria :

>>You must have minimum 60% marks in your academic career.

WIPRO criteria :

>>You must have minimum 55% marks in your academic career.
>>There should not be any active backlog

Hi all,

There is no need to be panic if you have gap in your education provided that is not during the course. I mean you should not have gap while you are doing B.tech or intermediate. You must complete B.tech in 4 years and 12th in two years. As long as you meet this criteria don't worry. At the same time you should meet their eligibility criteria.

You have to maintain minimum 60% as your aggregate throughout all classes and in your B.tech. Better to have a good percentage of marks if you have a gap in your education. It gives them good impression that you are studying well and responsible towards your career.

If it one year gap, it doesn't matter at all. You can show the better reason of why are delayed. For example because of long term coaching or health reasons like accident,sickness or some other. But make sure you have the proof and ability to convince them. If it is a health reason you should produce the required medical certificates.

If it is 2-4 years gap, saying that you are medically unfit is not a better idea. it wilol close the doors for your entry into these software firms forever because they may feel that you are physically unfit and may not be able to work efficiently.

Better if you show them some work experience for that gap you mentioned. Carry the experience certificate or say them that you worked for your family business if you are unable to produce the experience certificate. But Keep in mind that whatever you are saying should be realistic.

Hi dear,

yes surely you are eligible. one year gap is allowed for TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc leading IT company. but obviously you should have valid reason for your gap. as you suffered in jaundice then i think you have medical certificate for that so there is no problem.

generally the eligibility criterion for most of the leading IT companies is candidates should have minimum of 60% marks throughout their career from 10th to B.Tech or M.Tech. as you have more than 60% marks in 10th, 12th and B.Tech so you fulfill this eligibility criterion.

one more eligibility criterion is gap between study up to two years are allowed for TCS, Wipro,Infosys like leading company. but obviously you should have valid reason for any type of gap.

don't worry you fulfill all eligibility criterion. you are eligible to appear in leading IT company. just prepare himself for the IT industry so that easily you can get job in a good company.

I have 4 years gap before my 12th exam due to health reasons and can produce the medical certificate for the same, I have recently completed my BE in June 2011 with 74% aggregate. I am searching for software engineering job and hence please let me know the detailed list of eligibility criteria of all the s/w companies including Indian and foreign MNCs such as their age restriction and educational career gap criteria....!! I am presently 25 years old and my date of birth is 03.02.1986. My 10th result is 93% and 12th is 81%. I have no backlogs throughout my educational career and I had to take a gap only due to my ill health..!!
