Joining the best IAS coaching institute in Ahmedabad will spare the applicant a great deal of time, which he can dedicate exclusively to his exam readiness. In any case, getting Best UPSC coaching institute in Ahmedabad or the Best GAS/GPSC coaching in Ahmedabad isn't that simple. Most of the academies charge a high fee in Ahmedabad ranging from Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 2.25 Lakhs which is very high for most of the aspirants.

Remember, whatever background you have come from, it is not that you have to choose subjects from that background too.

You can choose subjects in which you have good knowledge, no matter whether it is your course subject or.

Be confident what you choose...

You can choose from the following subjects:

Agriculture,
Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science,
Botany,
Chemistry,
Civil Engineering,
Commerce and Accountancy,
Economics,
Electrical Engineering,
Geography,
Geology,
History,
Law,
Management,
Mathematics,
Mechanical Engineering,
Medical Science,
Philosophy,
Physics,
Political Science and International Relations,
Psychology,
Public Administration,
Sociology,
Statistics,
Zoology.

Your goal is appreciable ..

India Needs young minds like you ..coming to your question as you are confused about what to select

there is no tension now to select the optionals according to the changed pattern all the students need to prepare for common syllabus in the first phase of the examination

i.e., CSAT in this there is no head ache of selecting optionals

only after clearing this examination you need to concentrate on selecting the optional subjects

you have a very wide range of subjects

and good news for you is there are subjects related to medical field also

the subjects like Medical Science

psychology

are from your field only so you can select any one of them

and also the other optionals can be selected from these subjects

Mathematics
Agriculture
Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
Botany
Chemistry
Commerce
Economics
Geography
Geology
Indian History
Law
Mathematics
Management
Philosophy
Physics
Political Science
Public Administration

these are the few optional subjects for you to select from them

if you are not interested in medical field there is no compulsion to select the medical subjects you can simply go according to your interest

I hope yo got the gist of my answer

Regards

in the IAS exam you should be a "graduate" in some field. generally candidates choose their optional subject as the same subject that they graduated in.
