Hello friend, You are not eligible to write GATE.According to the rule of GATE the students who are having their bachelor degree and the students who are in the final year of their BTech eligible to write the exam.So you have to wait one more year to write GATE.Once 5 years ago there is a chance for BTech 3rd year students to write GATE.But now this rule is changed. Do well in you acadamics and write the GATE in you final year of BTech.If you work hard from now ,definitely you will crack the GATE exam. ALL THE BEST. |

Re: Can a B.E third year student answer GATE exam? well you should ask this question once more clearly stating your branch for which you appeared in GATE. Secondly, your all india rank and your percentile for the same. then only it can be said whether you would be able to get admission in NIT or not. It all depends on the cut off for that branch. please rephrase your question then only we can help. |

Hi friend, If you achieve a very good rank in GATE , you have many opportunities to get government jobs in the companies like : >BHEL(Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.) >ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation). >OIL( oil india ltd.) >IOCL (Indian Oil Corporation ltd.) Selection procedure: 1. On the basis of GATE score, you will be short listed for further selection process. 2. Group Discussion / Group Task 3. Personal Interview for assessment of different facets of knowledge, skill, attitude and aptitude. All the best !!! |

Re: Can a B.E third year student answer GATE exam? The eligibility criteria for Gate exam- 1. Applicant should complete the B.Tech/BE/M.SC . 2. No age limitation. 3. You can attempt as many times you want. 4. Students of final year also can apply. The Gate score is valid for two years. Re: Can a B.E third year student answer GATE exam? As per the eligibility criteria.. The prefinal year student can't appear the GATE exam. And the rank validity is only one year.. So you are not eligible now.. so now you have 1-1 1/2 years to prepairation.. good luck...~~` |

Yes , B-TECH 3 rd year engineer are eligible for GATE exam. There are no limitation for attempts GATE exam. The GATE score is valid for 2 years. The B-TECH candidate ,MCA and MASTER degree are eligible for GATE exam. All the best. |

Hello, No, B.E third year student cannot appear for GATE(Gratitude Aptitude Test of Engineering) Exam * Final year candidates can only appear for exam. * Candidates should complete graduation in B.E or B.Tech * There is no age limit for gate exam * There is no attempts in gate exam. So, you can attend as many you can. * Gate exam score is valid for 2 years. No, need to worry wait for one year at final you can do gate exam. Best wishes |

Re: Can a B.E third year student answer GATE exam? hello dear yes,a B.E third year student can appear in the GATE exam. the GATE eligibility is given below 1.minimum graduation in engineering for AICTE approved college or university. final year & prefinal year BE/B.Tech students are also allowed to attain in the gate exam. the gate exam is conducted on the month of February. there have not any age limit to attain in the gate exam. all the best............ |
