Information Regarding GATE-2012 Examination.

No, According to eligibility criteria of GATE-2012 examination the pre-final year candidates are not eligible for the GATE-2012 examination. Only final year and pass out candidates are eligible for the GATE-2012 examination.

So, if you are a third year B.Tech candidate then you are not eligible for GATE-2012 examination. You will be eligible in the final year for the GATE examination. Details information is available on the official website of GATE exam.

NOTE :- There are no age limit and no. of attempt for the GATE examination. So you can appear in the GATE exam at any age and many times according to own wish.

yes,a B.E third year student can appear in the GATE exam.

the GATE eligibility is given below

1.minimum graduation in engineering for AICTE approved college or university.

final year & prefinal year BE/B.Tech students are also allowed to attain in the gate exam.

the gate exam is conducted on the month of February.

there have not any age limit to attain in the gate exam.

As GATE exam score will valid for 2 years,therefore you can appear for Gate exam from 3rd year onwards.

* Final year candidates can only appear for exam.
* Candidates should complete graduation in B.E or B.Tech
* There is no age limit for gate exam
* There is no attempts in gate exam. So, you can attend as many you can.
* Gate exam score is valid for 2 years.

No, need to worry wait for one year at final you can do gate exam.

Yes , B-TECH 3 rd year engineer are eligible for GATE exam.

There are no limitation for attempts GATE exam.

The GATE score is valid for 2 years.

The B-TECH candidate ,MCA and MASTER degree are eligible for GATE exam.

The prefinal year student can't appear the GATE exam.
And the rank validity is only one year..

So you are not eligible now..
so now you have 1-1 1/2 years to prepairation..

hi as per this year only final year student can write the exam but do not worry your exam marks is valid for two years.prepare well from third year so that you can more marks

3. You can attempt as many times you want.
4. Students of final year also can apply.

The Gate score is valid for two years.

So according to the Gate-2012 rule third year students are not eligible for the exam .

well you should ask this question once more clearly stating your branch for which you appeared in GATE. Secondly, your all india rank and your percentile for the same. then only it can be said whether you would be able to get admission in NIT or not. It all depends on the cut off for that branch. please rephrase your question then only we can help.
