Read the notification of 2011 of civil service examination for that . you can download that in both hindi and english from following links. http://upsc.gov.in/exams/notificatio...cs2011_eng.pdf http://upsc.gov.in/exams/notificatio...2011_hindi.pdf First read it carefully , then choose your subjects from given list and then start reading . Start with ncert first to clear the basics. You have to apear for prelims and mains both . From year 2011 paper 2 of prelims is replaced with aptitude test which is known as civil service aptitude test .
