Re: Top NIT institutes for Aerospace Engineering? hi if you want to take aerospace engineering as your stream in NIT, then I’m sorry to say that no NIT in india provides an under graduation course in aerospace engineering. If you want to join aerospace engineering, you can find it in a couple of IITs and IISc bangalore. The IITs are IIT BOMBAY and IIT KANPUR. Therefore, you’ll have to get into these colloeges for the pursuation of your graduation in aersspace engineering. Gud luck |

But in the brochure its mentioned that aerospace is there in NITs. So i guess these NITs have aerospace but they havent mentioned in their site. Dont know why... Maybe you can conform about this with the college authorities... thank you |

Other than IITs these are the colleges providing Aerospace engg: Punjab Engineering College Noorul Islam College Of Engineering Anna University All the best! |

Aerospace engineering as an undergraduate career may not be a good option as this will narrow your study options. rather than that you should go for mechanical engineering with NITs having good research programs for fluid mechanics. Alternatively if you are sure for going for that field then go for equivalent institutes like PEG(Punjab Engineering College). Please note that for post graduation some institutes have some restrictions for Aerospace Engineer for admission in equivalent programs than mechanical engineers. |
