You have completed your B-TECH in COMPUTER SCIENCE. But your graduation marks is must be 60% above because below mention organization have criteria is above 60% in graduation . This percentage is vary from organization to organization. So you have many options to go like govt sector ,private sector or higher study also. The govt sector options are -DRDO , BARC , ONGC , ISRO , NIC , IGDR , UPSC EXAM , BSNL JTO etc.The age limit for those organization is maximum 30 years .Age relaxation provide only for SC/ST /OBC candidate. Also you are eligible in private sector also . the private sector company are TCS ,CTS ,IBM,HP,L&T,ALUNUS ,WIPRO etc. The higher study options are MS , MBA ,M-TECH ,JRF ,SRF ,PHD etc. Also you must be qualify in GATE ,CAT,MAT exam. Re: What are the opportunities for B.Tech CSE final year students in government sector? cs students have less chance for the govt jobs but then also there some psu's where there is requirements for the CS students like BARC,DRDO,HAL,BHEL,NTPC,NPCIL and you can also apply for the bankihg jobs for the pO all the best |

There are so many opportunities for CSE students in Govt. sectors like - ISRO BHEL ONGC Railway Banking sectors SAIL ECIL EIL DRDO BSNL but to apply for those you have to complete your B.tech degree . Re: What are the opportunities for B.Tech CSE final year students in government sector? Candidates who have completed b.tech in computer science will find jobs mostly in it industries. There are also other industries like banking, airlines, manufacturing etc which recruits b.tech computer science graduates. All the industrial sectors are implementing more and more technology and is becoming computerized. Some of the areas which provide opportunity for computer engineers are in the hard ware industry, software programmers, microprocessor designer and developers, networking and also even in the maintenance. For a computer science engineering graduate there are various job opportunities in the following areas- telecom(bsnl-jto) isro bhel cdac ongc gail sail nic etc. In most of the cases the selection process depends on the written examinations. In case of the civil service(upsc), railways, banking exam etc the selection is on the basis of the written exam. These are highly competitive examinations which are held on an all india basis. The government companies such as bhel, cdac etc and all will also conduct written examinations based on the various positions which are vacant in that organization. - you can also apply in isro , communication sector also..
