i m a b.tech cse final year student what is the opportunity for govement job for me??????

As a B.Tech(CSE) final year student you have many options in the Private sector compared to the Government sector.There are few job opportunities from your stream in core side compared to ECE, EEE and Mechanical.Here I meant core side as Government sector companies and Industries like NTPC, BEL,.etc.

If you just mean a Government job then you can attend many exams on the graduation basis.Many of the exams which you can attend are conducted by UPSC ,SSC and State's PSC like CSAT, CDS, Sub Inspector Recruitment in various sectors,.etc.

There are even Public Sector Undertaking(PSU) companies through which you can become an Engineer.Some of the companies which generally need Computer Engineer's are BSNL, ISRO, DRDO,.etc

All details regarding Government jobs will be published in the weekly journal "Employment News".You can go through the newspaper weekly so that you get details regarding Government recruitment.

Candidates who have completed b.tech in computer science will find jobs mostly in it industries. There are also other industries like banking, airlines, manufacturing etc which recruits b.tech computer science graduates. All the industrial sectors are implementing more and more technology and is becoming computerized. Some of the areas which provide opportunity for computer engineers are in the hard ware industry, software programmers, microprocessor designer and developers, networking and also even in the maintenance.


For a computer science engineering graduate there are various job opportunities in the following areas-

In most of the cases the selection process depends on the written examinations.

cs students have less chance for the govt jobs but then also there some psu's where there is requirements for the CS students like

BARC,DRDO,HAL,BHEL,NTPC,NPCIL

and you can also apply for the bankihg jobs for the pO

You have completed your B-TECH in COMPUTER SCIENCE. But your graduation marks is must be 60% above because below mention organization have criteria is above 60% in graduation . This percentage is vary from organization to organization.

So you have many options to go like govt sector ,private sector or higher study also.

The govt sector options are -DRDO , BARC , ONGC , ISRO , NIC , IGDR , UPSC EXAM , BSNL JTO etc.The age limit for those organization is maximum 30 years .Age relaxation provide only for SC/ST /OBC candidate.

Also you are eligible in private sector also . the private sector company are TCS ,CTS ,IBM,HP,L&T,ALUNUS ,WIPRO etc.

The higher study options are MS , MBA ,M-TECH ,JRF ,SRF ,PHD etc.

Also you must be qualify in GATE ,CAT,MAT exam.
