IAS mean Indian Administrative Service IAS is not a easy thing but hard work make things easy.It is conducted by UPSC every year. so a through study of the subjects you choose for mains is required together with that a good GENERAL KNOWLEDGE id also required because and most important a common sense is required for the interview sessions There are 2 exams u and a interview. 1.preliminiary exam 2.main exam 3.interview 1st of all u have to to prepare for preliminary exam and if u passed in preliminary exam then u have to give the main exam. In preliminary exam you have to study g.k,english comprehenshion passages, current affairs computer section and reasoning. in main exam u have to choose your subjects and according to those subjects u have to give the main exam.and if u clear the main exam then u ready to attend the interview.in interview also u need more hard work of g.k,english, andd computer knowledge. to prepare for ias exam you have to study hard work at home and also need to join coaching to tackle hard questions easily and in least time. with regard umang_28 |

THe written test is conducted in two phases-prelims and mains which is followed by interviews and GDs. I would suggest you choose your subjects and start preparing. coaching classes will be really helpful. I am attaching a pdf file which will be useful. |

The Indian Administrative Service (IAS) is the administrative civil service of the executive branch of the Government of the Republic of India. IAS is a very elite and only a few candidates from lakhs appearing every year get selected. You also have go through stringent selection procedure to be selected.
