Re: How to prepare for General awareness for bank exams i am graduated from amrita institute of computer technology(AICT) throgh bharatiar university school of distance learning programme. the classes was regular, and then i completed my MCA from a recognised college under bharatiar university on regular basis.Now i have applied for the Karur Vysya clerk exam 2011, But its mentioned on ther banks website that candidates who garaduated through open universities or correspondance are not eligible for the test. my highest quqlification is MCA and thats from a recognized university , will i eligible for the test??? plz help me... |

Most of the questions will be asked from daily news. It is the best way to get scaled up in the GK section. Another equally important thing is to listen to the daily news on any channel of your choice, preferably in English. This will help you to improve you GK along with developing the power to grasp words quickly. You must read lots of General knowledge and awareness books. Internet is another source from where you can get information about current affairs, sports and also historical GK. There are many websites which offer quizzes and games which will also improve your knowledge in that subject. |
