The eligibility Criteria you require for the exam are : * You must have passed your 12th with PCM as your main subjects from any recognized board. * Your age should lie in between 16.5-19 years. * You must be an unmarried male. * You must have Indian Nationality. * You must be physically and mentally fit. [I]Definitely not my friend, , you are not totally eligible on the basis on the age criteria required for appearing in the NDA [NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY], examination, conducted by the UPSC [UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION]. The age limit required for apply in [/COLOR][COLOR="Red"]this examination is 16.5-19 years.[/B][/B]. Remark the fact that, there is not any kind of age limit reservation applicable for the SC\ST candidates . Through this examination, one can apply in all the combatant branches of the Indian army ,,ie in AIR FORCE , NAVAL BRANCH MILITARY BRANCH.. For appear in this examination, you must have a 12th degree from a recognized board. for apply in naval & air force branch, you must have subjects Physics & Maths with at least 60% in12th . You must have Indian nationality with marital status unmarried. Examination pattern-=  Physical requirements-=  And this , examination was Going to be Held on 15/April/2012. Thank you!!! @~gamble~@ |

Eligibility for NDA In order to appear for NDA exam you need to be in the age limit of 16.5-19 years and should have passed out 12th from a recognized board.. As far as age is concerned, yes, you are definitely eligible for the NDA (1) 2012 as your age at that time will be 19 year but i don't think you shall be eligible for the NDA (2) 2012 which is in August as your age would have exceeded 19 years by then.. So this is going to be your last shot for the NDA exam.. The forms shall be available from 31st December,2011 and the last date for form submission is 30th January,2012.. The exam shall be conducted on 15th April,2012.. The exam shall test your basic knowledge of maths,english and general knowledge.. all the best..  With Warm Regards "Nitz" |

Please go through these and try to understand whether you are eligible or not : 1.Academic qualification : You should have passed 12th standard examination 2.Nationality : You must be an Indian citizen 3.Age limitation : Your age must be within 16.5 to 19 years. 4.Eyesight criteria : your eyesight must be 6/6 and should have no color blindness. 5.Height factor : The height of the candidate must be 165cm. Re: Am I eligible for upcoming NDA Exam? hello dear, NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year for which the minimum eligibility criteria is; -a candidait should be 12th from any state board or central board with atleast 60% marks in PCM stream or math as one of the subject - an appearing candidate can also apply for the exam -candidate's age should be between 16.5-19 as your age lies between this limits so you are eligible for the exam |

The NDA stands for National Dafence Academy . yes,you are eligiable for the upcoming NDA Exam. you are satisfying age criteria which is required for the NDA exam. other eligibility criteria are 1.minimum 12th pass,in science. 2.minimum 60% marks in 12th. 3.age limit is 16.5-19 years. There is age relaxation for OBC,SC/ST candidates as per government norms. |

Hi dear, here i given some important eligibility criteria like as- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. A candidate must be an unmarried male and have attained the age of 16 1/2 years and must not have attained the age 19 years on the 1st January or 1st of July of the year succeeding the year of examination. Candidates must not marry until they complete their full training. A candidate who marries subsequent to the date of his application, though successful will not be selected for training. A candidate must be a citizen of India, Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination as per guidelines given : Candidates are advised to rectify minor defects/ailments in order to speed up finalisation of medical examination conducted at the Military Hospital after being recommended at the SSB. Eligibility for Indian Army : 1:You should pass 12(10+2)th or its equivalent from State Board / Universities. you can also apply as appearing for 12th examination. 2:Marital Status:Unmarried 3:Sex :Male. 4:Age Limit : Between 16.5 and 19. 5:Nationality: You have to be A citizen of India, or subject of Bhutan, or subject of Nepal, or Tibetan refugee . Application Forms are published in any leading newspapers during March or April every year and entrance examination to be held by the UPSC six months later from the application form is published. The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India. Each year course start twice January and July. Selection Procedure: National Defence Academy selects the candidates in three phases : i)A written examination by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC). ii)An interview by the Service Selection Board(SSC) to check the potentialities Intelligence and personality. iii)A medical examination by a Service Medical Board(SMB). The written examination is of two papers of all objective type questions. i)Mathematics of 2.5 hours maximum number 300 including Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics. ii)General Ability test of 2.5 hours maximum number 600 including General English, General Knowledge,Physics,Chemistry,General Science,History,Freedom Movement,Geography,Current Event After clearing the written exam you will be called for a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step of selection.
