State Bank of India is the most common and nationalized bank of India Eligibility Criteria: •Candidate must be citizen of India. •Candidate should have completed their graduation with at least 60 % aggregate from the recognized University to be eligible for this course. •Candidate must be computer literate to be eligible for this course. AGE •Candidate must be above 21 years of age and must not be more than 30 years of age. |

Eligibility Criteria Following requirements are necessary to apply for the post: Educational Qualification Candidates belonging to general category should be a graduate in any stream or its equivalent. The minimum mark required is 65% or more. Those belonging to other classes are eligible to apply if they are a graduate in any stream or its equivalent with 60% or more. Moreover the candidates should also have some knowledge in computers. He should have done his training from a recognized institution. Age The age limit is 21 to 30 years. There are exceptions in case of upper age limit fro those belonging to other classes. Nationality The candidates should be Indian citizen. The required educational qualification is Graduation in any discipline from a recognised college / university . There is no condition regarding the division or percentage this time. Thus if you have passed graduation you are eligible to apply for the exam. Age Qualifications The age of the candidate should not be below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.05.2011 i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.05.1981 and not later than 01.05.1990 (both days inclusive). Computer Degree is Required or Not This time as per the advertisement given by SBI there is no need to have diploma or degree in computers. Only required qualification is graduation. Thus those who do not have any computer degree need not woory. Number of attempts in SBI PO exam A new restriction has been imposed on the number of attempts for the candidates. Those candidate have completed their graduation degree from any recognized university are eligible for SBI BANK PO exam. They are not require any kind of percentage marks in graduation for this time. But your age must be in between 20 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide only for SC/ST/OBC candidate .For Sc/ST candidate have age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC candidate it is 3 years. SBI BANK PO exam consist of two steps 1) Written test 2)Personal Interview. For written test you must be prepare for mathematics and general knowledge.Also you must have basic knowledge computer field. Re: Eligibility criteria for SBI PO Exam? hello, SBI recruitment for SBI and SBI associates bank for 2011 has been passed so you will have to wait for next year..... perhaps the notification will come in may-june of the next year... eligibility for SBI PO exam is; -you must be graduate from any recognized university -you as an appearing candidate can't apply for the exam -your age must be between 21-30 but upper age relaxation is given to OBC and SC/ST as per the government rule... -upper age limit for OBC is 33 years -upper age limit for SC/ST is 35 years... -number of attempts is also limited for general 4, for OBC 7 and there is no limit of attempts for SC/ST for more information regarding recruitment an eligibility you can visit the official website of SBI; www.statebankofindia.com |
