For the academic year 2011, SBI PO Exam and SBI Associate Banks PO Exam was over. There is notification regarding the SBI PO Exam for the academic year 2012.

Hope SBI will definitely come with another big notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officers.

Here is the eligibility criteria for SBI PO Exam.
Academic Qualification :
-One should have completed Graduation to be eligible for the exam
-Final year pursuing candidates and candidates who have appeared for final year exams of graduation and waiting for the results are not eligible for this exam.

Age criteria :
-A candidate should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for SBI PO Exam
-Relaxation in upper age limit
-upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC
-upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST
-upto 5 yeas for Ex-serviceman

The nationality of a candidate should be India to be eligible for SBI PO Exam.

To be eligible for the post of probationary officer in the State Bank of India, you must be a graduate and must have scored a minimum of 55% in the same along with 60% marks in the +2 level of examination.
The minimum eligible age is 21 years.
The maximum age limit is 30 years for candidates belonging to general category, 33 years for OBC and 35 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

SBI recruitment for SBI and SBI associates bank for 2011 has been
passed so you will have to wait for next year.....

perhaps the notification will come in may-june of the next year...

eligibility for SBI PO exam is;
-you must be graduate from any recognized university
-you as an appearing candidate can't apply for the exam
-your age must be between 21-30 but upper age relaxation is
given to OBC and SC/ST as per the government rule...
-upper age limit for OBC is 33 years
-upper age limit for SC/ST is 35 years...
-number of attempts is also limited for general 4, for OBC 7 and there is
no limit of attempts for SC/ST

The eligibility criteria is not changed by SBI and are as follows :

• Educational Qualification- The candidate must have Graduation degre .Please note that the candidate appearing in final exam of graduation are not eligible.
• Nationality- Indian
• AGE- 21 to 30 years
• Age Relaxation - (1)OBC - 3 years

Dear friend,

Those candidate have completed their graduation degree from any recognized university are eligible for SBI BANK PO exam.

They are not require any kind of percentage marks in graduation for this time.

But your age must be in between 20 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide only for SC/ST/OBC candidate .For Sc/ST candidate have age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC candidate it is 3 years.

SBI BANK PO exam consist of two steps 1) Written test 2)Personal Interview.

For written test you must be prepare for mathematics and general knowledge.Also you must have basic knowledge computer field.

Every bank set their own criteria .So it is not perfect criteria all BANK PO exam.

A new restriction has been imposed on the number of attempts for the candidates. For general number of attempts is 4, for OBC it is 7 and for SC/ST

for open candidates 21 to 30years.

for BC candidates 21 to 33years.

for SC/ST candidates 21 to 35years.

Educational Qualification
The required educational qualification is Graduation in any discipline from a recognised college / university . There is no condition regarding the division or percentage this time. Thus if you have passed graduation you are eligible to apply for the exam.

Age Qualifications
The age of the candidate should not be below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.05.2011 i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.05.1981 and not later than 01.05.1990 (both days inclusive).

Computer Degree is Required or Not
This time as per the advertisement given by SBI there is no need to have diploma or degree in computers. Only required qualification is graduation. Thus those who do not have any computer degree need not woory.

Number of attempts in SBI PO exam

The age limit is 21 to 30 years. There are exceptions in case of upper age limit fro those belonging to other classes.

Nationality

The candidates should be Indian citizen. Those who have an eligibility certificate from the Indian Government can also apply.

the criteria of eligible for SBI po exam is after graduation and most better is some expireance about their feild.and the age is completed 18 year and not exceed 45 year
