Re: Is it necessary to know Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Exams? dear sir , i recently appeard for bank relationship executive exam conducted by jammu and kashmir bank , there were no. of questions on simplification, they were lenthy enough to calculate in the given time pressure, i wonder is there any short cut ways to solve them quickly. which book may be helpful for the shortcut methods. please let me know immidiately.as i am appearing in future cimpetitive exam. |

Re: Is it necessary to know Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Exams? Yes certainly this is an important section in all the competitive exams. It is important to have minimum cut off in this section too like the other sections. If you feel you are weak in this section then you need to necessarily devote more time for it. You can begin with the simpler problems and then move on to the difficult ones. If required do join a coaching center or take private tuition so you can seek guidance for especially the weak areas. |

Re: Is it necessary to know Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Exams? hi friend, surely it is necessary of having knowledge on aptitude. mostly 15%-40% score depends on the aptitude. in case of bank exams nearly 40%-60% of questions are based on aptitude and logical reasoning. all the best |

Re: Is it necessary to know Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Exams? quantitative aptitude is an individual section in all competitive sections... in CAT AND JMET EXAM,aptitude plays an vital role.... in GATE EXAM, out of 100 marks, 10 marks alloted for aptitude section.... in IAS EXAM AND GMAT AND ALSO IN GRE exam,aptitude is very much needed... all the best. |
