is it necessary to know quants for various competitive exams.
i am going to start preparation for exams.

For every competitive exam,there will compulsory few logical question i.e Quantitative Aptitude question,to know the candidate how logical thinking person.

surely it is necessary of having knowledge on aptitude.
mostly 15%-40% score depends on the aptitude.
in case of bank exams nearly 40%-60% of questions are based on aptitude and logical reasoning.

Yes you need to know QA for exams like GATE and other companies do need while recruiting candidates.

Yes certainly this is an important section in all the competitive exams. It is important to have minimum cut off in this section too like the other sections. If you feel you are weak in this section then you need to necessarily devote more time for it. You can begin with the simpler problems and then move on to the difficult ones. If required do join a coaching center or take private tuition so you can seek guidance for especially the weak areas.

dear sir ,
i recently appeard for bank relationship executive exam conducted by jammu and kashmir bank , there were no. of questions on simplification, they were lenthy enough to calculate in the given time pressure, i wonder is there any short cut ways to solve them quickly. which book may be helpful for the shortcut methods.
