Hello Friend , The minimum Qualifying marks for GATE (GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST IN ENGINEERING ) is also known as Cut off marks which is required for a valid GATE SCORE . The minimum Qualifying marks does not constant every year & for every stream it also depends upon several factors like NOS OF CANDIDATES appearing for that particular stream and highest mark obtained in that stream . It is calculated with a specific formula . Generally for All the streams the CUT OFF MARKS is around 25 - 30 Marks . If a candidate score greater then CUT OFF MARKS , then that candidates are eligible for getting GATE SCORE CARD . Please refer below the given GATE Cut off marks out of 100 ;  GOOD LUCK ..!! |

Re: Minimum qualifying Marks for GATE Exam? e eligibility criteria for GATE is as follows: Bachelor's degree holders Engineering/ Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes. Master degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master's degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology or in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master's degree programme and Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology. Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed Section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible. To prepare yourself follow the following methods: Solve previous years’ GATE papers.It brushes up your basics and exposes your ‘areas of improvement’. Re: Minimum qualifying Marks for GATE Exam? hiii sir, am naveen i got my gate score 22.33 in stream eee its about 0.17 marks less for qualify,most of all students have lost their qualify between 22 to 22.50 , so please sir make cut off to 22.50 to 22 marks,,ALL STUDENTS in EDUCATION AND CARRER FORUM PLEASE SUPPORT ME and MANY others who lost their qualify closly..so students pass this message to Chairman, GATE Indian Institute of Technology Delhi .....right now and make them cut off from 22.50 to 22 marks,every thing is possible with unity. |
