Yes, you can appear for NDA exam.National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army. Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam: Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream. Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years. Citizenship: Indian NDA-I exam notification for this year: Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012. Exam will held on 15th April 2012. Hello friend, To be eligible for the NDA exam conducted by union public service commission, you must have attained the age of 16 1/2 years and must not be over 19 years while applying for the exam. As per your date of birth, I guess you won't be eligible to apply for the exam. But if you are so desperate to join Indian Army or any other defense forces of India, you may write combined defense service exam after qualifying your bachelors degree examination. However, for NDA, the notification will be published on 31-12-2011. |

Re: Am I eligible for NDA I Exam of next year? hello dear, yes, you are eligible for NDA-1 exam..... union public service commission(UPSC) conducts the exam for national defence academy(NDA) for which the eligibility criteria is; -you should be 12th with minimum 60% marks in PCM stream but a candidate with different stream but having math as one of the subject can also apply for the exam.. -an appearing candidate you can also apply for the exam... -your age should be between 16.5-19 years.... //as your age will be 19 next year so you are eligible in NDA 1 exam but you won't remain eligible for the next exam...// for more details you can visit the official website of UPSC; www.upsc.gov.in |

NDA(National Defence Academy) exam is conducted by UPSC(Union public service commission). * Candidates should be the citizen of India. * Candidates should have age limit within 16.5 to 19 years * Candidates should complete 12th from a recognized institute * Candidates should study maths and physics at 12th. * Unmarried male candidates can only appear the exam. * Candidates should be physically fit. Re: Am I eligible for NDA I Exam of next year? you have not mentioned your full profile . but NDA eligibility is - you must ave nationality of india. you must have to clear your 12th with 60% in PCM group. the age limit for this exam 16.5-19. this exam is only for unmarried men. |

Re: Am I eligible for NDA I Exam of next year? No, you will not be eligible to apply for Nda1 2012 because you will be over aged at the time of the commencement of the course. But you can apply for CDS after completing your graduation in any stream. And you should be aged between 19-21 years at the time of the commencement of the course of CDS. |
