Hello friend,
To be eligible for the NDA exam conducted by union public service commission, you must have attained the age of 16 1/2 years and must not be over 19 years while applying for the exam.
As per your date of birth, I guess you won't be eligible to apply for the exam.
But if you are so desperate to join Indian Army or any other defense forces of India, you may write combined defense service exam after qualifying your bachelors degree examination.
However, for NDA, the notification will be published on 31-12-2011.

No you are not eligible for the National Defence academy examination for the next year. For the National Defence academy examination candidate age should be between 16.5 to 19 years at the time of training.

And in the next year your are at the age of 19 years that means you are more then 19 years at the time of training. That's why you are not eligible for the National defence examination.

dear friend, eligibility age for NDA is 16.5 to 19 year when application fill.as per your date of birth at januaey u will complete 19 almost.it is possible when if NDA NOTOFICATION publish at jan.for more information log on to www.upse.gov.in
if are join defence u join after graduation or B.E. so chance is remain for u. u can apply for CDS exan after that.

NDA - National Defence Academy

NDA is one of the Defence service exam and this exam is being conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).

For applying for this exam you need to satisfy certain eligibility conditions and they may include:

> Candidate must have a citizenship in India.

> Candidate must be a unmarried male candidate as it is a strict rule.

> Candidate must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years i.e born after 2nd July 1993 and not later than 1st January 1996.

> Candidate must have completed +2 from a recognized board with a fair percentage.

> Candidate who want to be a part of Indian Air force and Navy should have completed their +2 from a recognized board with physics and mathematics as subject.

> Candidate must be physically fit while appearing for the NDA exam.

As you don't satisfy the age limit for the NDA exam,you cannot apply for the NDA exam.

You must be completed 12th exam from recognized university.

Also your age must be in between 16.5 and 19 years old.

You must have citizenship of India.

Your age is below 19 years so you are eligible for NDA exam.

The next NDA exam date is announced in the month of December.

No, you will not be eligible to apply for Nda1 2012 because you will be over aged at the time of the commencement of the course.
But you can apply for CDS after completing your graduation in any stream.

And you should be aged between 19-21 years at the time of the commencement of the course of CDS.

Union Public Service commission Conducts the examination every year.

The examination was conducted by Upsc two times in a year.

Lets see the eligibility Criteria of this examination.

union public service commission(UPSC) conducts the exam for national defence academy(NDA) for which the eligibility criteria is;

-you should be 12th with minimum 60% marks in PCM stream but a candidate with different stream but
having math as one of the subject can also apply for the exam..

-an appearing candidate you can also apply for the exam...

-your age should be between 16.5-19 years....

Yes,you can surely appear in both the NDA exams..

The eligibility criteria for appearing in the NDA exam is :-

1) You should be a 12th pass-out (with PCM if you want to go for Air Force or Navy)

2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

Apart from these,you should be physically fit and should have a perfect eyesight
