Re: What is the eligibility for girls to join in NDA? Hi, Girls are not eligible to apply for NDA exam. Eligibility criteria - 12th pass with Physics and Maths from a recognised board. Age should be between 16.5 - 19 years. Unmarried male candidates only can apply. So, sorry to say but you can't apply. |

HELLO FRIEND, DEAR FRIEND , NDA (National Defence Academy) ,an exam will conducted by Union Public Service Commission.Those candidtes who have yet to qualify in the 12th class exam or eqivalent exam are allowed to appear the exam but The Women candidates can't join the NDA after 12th exam because Only the Unmarried male candidates are eligible for NDA. So,girls are not eligible to join NDA. |

I am providing you the complete eligibility criteria of NDA: Only unmarried male candidates are allowed Must be an Indian Age- 16.5 to 19 years Must have either passed or appearing in class 12th exam with Physics ,chemistry and Maths This exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) and you can get details from the official website of upsc that is http://www.upsc.gov.in If you really want to join indian army then you can join after completing your graduation. |

Just after completing high school examination, indian army entrance scheme is NDA (national defence academy), but the exam is only for male cadets. Don't worry, during graduation you will have opportunities to get in indian air force via three schemes- *UES- university entry scheme. *SSC- short service commission. *CDS-combined defence services. Generally there are three branches in air force- 1. Flying branch 2. Technical branch. 3. Ground duty branch. * For flying branch- CDS exam, NCC special entry SSC (only for 14yr./maths background) Age limit-19-23yr. * For Technical branch-direct entry scheme, UES. Age limit-18-28yr. For more information you can visit the official site-www.careerairforce.nic.in Although via appearing in CDS, you can apply one among the three disciplene i.e. Air, defence and navy. This is because NDA exam conducted by UPSC , is only applicable for unmarried males. For your clearance, here are the eligibility criteria for NDA exam : * you must be a citizen of India. * You must have completed your 12th with a minimum of 45% marks. * You must be an unmarried male having the age between 16.5 and 19 years. * You must be physically and mentally fit. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |

Re: What is the eligibility for girls to join in NDA? According to the eligibility criteria of NDA Girls are not eligible to apply for this exam. As this exam is only for the Unmarried male candidates. The male candidates who have passed the 10+2 exam or has appeared in the 12th board exam are only eligible. But girls can apply for the various defence services through CDS and UES exam. If you are studying or want to study the engineering then you may apply through University entry Scheme(UES) or through Combined defence Service examination (CDSE). WITH WARM REGARDS GOUTHAM. |

Eligibility criteria: +2 from any recognised state board of india. Age limits is 16.5years to 19years. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. Candidate should be a citizen of india. Dear Friend,  NDA (National Defence Academy) is one of the platforms through which you can express your indomitable spirit for your own country India. Eligibility for Indian Army : 1:You should pass 12(10+2)th or its equivalent from State Board / Universities. you can also apply as appearing for 12th examination. 2:Marital Status:Unmarried 3:Sex :Male. 4:Age Limit : Between 16.5 and 19. 5:Nationality: You have to be A citizen of India, or subject of Bhutan, or subject of Nepal, or Tibetan refugee . According to NDA Eligibility criteria girls are not eligible. The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October. Selection Procedure: National Defence Academy selects the candidates in three phases : i)A written examination by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC). ii)An interview by the Service Selection Board(SSC) to check the potentialities Intelligence and personality. ii)A medical examination by a Service Medical Board(SMB). The written examination is of two papers of all objective type questions. i)Mathematics of 2.5 hours maximum number 300 including Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics. ii)General Ability test of 2.5 hours maximum number 600 including General English, General Knowledge,Physics,Chemistry,General Science,History,Freedom Movement,Geography,Current Event After clearing the written exam you will be called for a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step of selection. On completion of the NDA course, you are sent to the respective service academies for your pre- commission training. Important dates/schedule of NDA-II exam-2011: Date of notification of NDA exam- : 5th May , 2012 Last Date for Receipt of Applications either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by Courier : 4th June , 2012 Date of Examination : 19th August, 2012. Eligibility for NDA exam:- 1.Candidate must have complete the 12th in any trade with 60% aggregate from a recognized central/state board.. 2.The age should be in between 16.5-19 years. 3.Candidate must be male and unmarried. So, you are not eligible.. But if you really want to join in defense then you can complete your graduation first after that you can join in defense through OTA (officers training academy)scheme.. All the best. |

Hello Friend sorry. girls are not allow for the NDA exam. only male candidate are allow for the NDA exam those have the following eligibility criteria. >>minimum 12th appearing/completed in science with PCM subjects combination Male candidate. >>minimum 60% marks in class 12th exam. also 60% marks in PCM subjects. >>age limit 16.5-19 years. >>minimum height 165cm. after qualifying the following criteria you will be eligiable for the NDA-I exam. then after you have to give SSB exam. all the best.............. |
