Yes in M.tech you can select another Branch of Engineering.But for taking Admission in M.tech you will have to get pass in GATE Exam.This is a common Entrance Exam conducted by IIT in order to take admission in M.tech course.

Yes of course you can take up your M Tech in any Different branch from your B Tech degree.

The only thing is to meet the minimum requirements for M Tech that you should have a minimum 60% aggregate in you B Tech.

Dear,Yes you can opt for any subject of your interest .Their is no restriction on that but you need to work hard for applying another branch to opt with student of same background do work hard..

Yes, you can opt other branch in M.Tech. but it should be related to any one of your subject you studied in B.Tech. and if you want to change your branch then I'll suggest you to do hard work, this will be requirement of the course.good luck..

yes, you can do mtech in different branch after clearing GATE..

but not totally different .. there must be some relation in between these two..

like you are a student of IT , then you can take electronics and communication..

yes, of course you can do m.tech in different branches.

you can change your branch in m.tech. as you are a IT graduate so for you software related subjects will be more helpful.

but if you rae interested in other subjects then you are free to take.but for this you have to score good percentile in GATE exam.

M.Tech in different branch after B.tech is possible .
Only thing is that you should have knowledge about the subjects.so dear you have to work hard for it and you will have to score good percentile to get admission to good college.

HI!

Yes, of course you can do MTech. after Btech. in a different branch.

But you can pursue MTech. only in related subjects i.e. subjects which you have studied in BTech. IT.

In my opinion you should not change your branch because it will be difficult for you to understand new concepts.

Moreover IT branch offers good job prospects with handsome salary & huge perks. There is no need to change your branch.

the various branches in Mtech include mining, electronics and instrumentation, software engineering, electronics and communication, network engineering.The gate score is 25 for general and 22 for SC/ST.The aspirants should score minimum 50% marks in graduation. You can get Mtech through GATE (graduate aptitude test) followed by an interview.Mtech is a two year course.The various branches in Mtech include mining, electronics and instrumentation, software engineering, electronics and communication, network engineering.The gate score is 300 for general and 200 for SC/ST.The aspirants should score minimum 50% marks in graduation. Amravati University , Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow University, Indian School of Mines Dhanbad,Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur,Indian Institute of Technology .are some of the colleges providing Mtech.
