Re: When to apply for upcoming NDA Exam? NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam coducted by UPSC two times every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry into Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA. You can apply for NDA-I, the notification for which will come out on 31.12.2011 and last date to apply will be on 30.01.2012 followed by examination on 15.04.2012. All eligible candidate should be unmarried Indian citizen within age group of 16.5 to 19 years with an educational qualification of 12th pass from any stream for Indian Army and 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for Navy and Air Force. You can avail the forms from your nearby post office or your nearest book depots.. For appearing in the NDA exam..you need to fulfill the following minimum eligibility criteria :- 1) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years 2) You should have passed out your 12th (with PCM as your subjects if you wish to join the Indian Air Force or Navy) 3) You should be an unmarried male.. A candidate must be between the age 16.5-19 years. 2. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. 3. He should be a 12th pass from a recognized state board or school with a minimum 50% aggregate. 4. Maths is compulsory subject if applying for the Naval or Air Force Wings. 5. The upcoming NDA exam is going to be conducted on 15-04-2012. The application form will be available from 31-12-2011. The examination is conducted for all the major defense forces of India and to be eligible for it, one must have qualified +2 level of exam with Physics and Maths. The minimum eligible age is 16 1/2 years and the maximum age limit is 19 years. For more information, refer to the official website of UPSC. |
