Re: Can I appear for AFMC entrance exam after passing BSc? Respected sir, I am in BSc first year with botony, zoology, chemistry as subject choice. Am I eligible for AFMC ? If yes what are the documents I would have to take with me during interview? |

Good morning ,sir,my self Mandeep Kaur . basically am from Hoshiarpur,punjab . currently ,am doing MSc nursing in mental health nursing(psychiatry nursing) I want to ask that can I eligible for AFMC test and my date of birth is 28/01/1988.and give me proper procedure to join it.and am already checked my eligibility on the official website of military service but , I don't know the proper procedure ([email protected]) Thankyou |

Re: Can I appear for AFMC entrance exam after passing BSc? Yes, you can appear for the test as you are under 25 years. AFMC conducts entrance exam annually for admission in MBBS. There are 130 seats and students across the country eye the seats. You should have completed 12th class from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subject in 12th. You should have scored minimum 60% marks in 12th and have atleast 50% marks in English. Age should be between 17-25 years and five years relaxation is provided to OBC/SC/ST category. |

You must have also passed an examination in Mathematics at least of the matriculation standard. A B.Sc candidate must have two subjects at the field of Science. IF you are 12th class student the age limit is[/B] 17 to 22 years that is you should born not born earlier that 01 January 1990 and not later than 31 December 1994....... if you are b.sc graduate your age limit is you should be below 24 age that mean should not born before 1 January 1988 That mean you are eligible in either of cases... Note this is for only 2011 AFMC exam! if you are b.sc graduate then age limit is you should be below 24 age that mean should not born before 1 January 1988 for 2011 then for 2012 it must be not born before 1 January 1989. So you are not eligible. better luck |

Re: Can I appear for AFMC entrance exam after passing BSc? dear friend, Eligibility for AFMC:- *Educational qualification:- 1.One must have complete the 12th in science having subjects like- English,Physics, chemistry and Biology.. 2.One must have 60% aggregate in PCM in 12th.. 3.One must not have less than 50% marks in individual science subjects. And also must not have less than 50% marks in English. *Age eligibility:- 1.The candidates age must be in between 17-21 years for 12th pass.. 2.If anyone has done B.Sc or appearing in B.Sc exam then the candidate must not have attained the age 24 years.. That means your age should be below 24 years.. As you have mentioned that your date of birth is 28-09-1988 , then you are eligible for the AFMC exam 2011 but not for 2012 exam.. The date is already over for AFMC exam 2011, then sorry to say you that you are not eligible for AFMC exam 2012.. all the best. |

Yes ur eligible after bsc but you have to fullfil the following criteria also.your age should not be be more than 24 years.and u had attained 60% marks in science subject in12 class with chemistry and biology subject.and each subject marks not less than 50%.more information on www.afmc.nic.in |
