sir i m a b.sc graduate and my dob is 28-09-1988,can i appear in afmc entrance exam.afmc prospectus says that u must not have attain a age of 24 years on 1 jan of the exam year......

Age for AFMC depends on two thing that is either you are b.sc or 12th..


IF you are 12th class student the age limit is

17 to 22 years that is you should born not born earlier that 01 January 1990 and not later than 31 December 1994.......

if you are b.sc graduate your age limit is

you should be below 24 age that mean should not born before 1 January 1988

That mean you are eligible in either of cases...

Note this is for only 2011 AFMC exam!!

if you are b.sc graduate then age limit is

you should be below 24 age that mean should not born before 1 January 1988 for 2011 then for 2012 it must be not born before 1 January 1989.

So you are not eligible.

Yes ur eligible after bsc but you have to fullfil the following criteria also.your age should not be be more than 24 years.and u had attained 60% marks in science subject in12 class with chemistry and biology subject.and each subject marks not less than 50%.more information on www.afmc.nic.in

Eligibility for AFMC:-

*Educational qualification:-

1.One must have complete the 12th in science having subjects like- English,Physics, chemistry and Biology..

2.One must have 60% aggregate in PCM in 12th..

3.One must not have less than 50% marks in individual science subjects.
And also must not have less than 50% marks in English.

*Age eligibility:-

1.The candidates age must be in between 17-21 years for 12th pass..

2.If anyone has done B.Sc or appearing in B.Sc exam then the candidate must not have attained the age 24 years..
That means your age should be below 24 years..
As you have mentioned that your date of birth is 28-09-1988 , then you are eligible for the AFMC exam 2011 but not for 2012 exam..
The date is already over for AFMC exam 2011, then sorry to say you that you are not eligible for AFMC exam 2012..

yes you are eligible for this exam, for 12th passed candidates, the age limit is 17-22.
for graduates it is 17-24.if you are b.sc graduate then age limit is

Yes , You are eligible for AFMC exam.

You must be completed 12th science with above 60% in PCM.

Also you must be score above 50 marks in Physics , Chemistry ,mathematics , English.

You must have also passed an examination in Mathematics at least of the matriculation standard.

A B.Sc candidate must have two subjects at the field of Science.

Also your your age should be in between 17 to 22 years(For 12th).

For B.SC candidate the maximum age limit is 24 years.

Yes, you can appear for the test as you are under 25 years. AFMC conducts entrance exam annually for admission in MBBS. There are 130 seats and students across the country eye the seats. You should have completed 12th class from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subject in 12th. You should have scored minimum 60% marks in 12th and have atleast 50% marks in English. Age should be between 17-25 years and five years relaxation is provided to OBC/SC/ST category.
