We all are aware of the fact that Polymer plays a vital role in our lives because of its uniqueness in properties and extended application in industries, packaging, sports, medicine, perfumes and preservatives, plastics, fuels, toys etc. So,there are number of opportunities for polymer and plastic engineers in polymer manufacturing industries as production engineers or technologists, quality control inspectors, polymer specialists, marketing executives. Number of private companies, including MNCs that deal with the production and marketing of plastic commodities too provides number of opportunities. There is good scope abroad with various MNcs requiring qualified polymer and plastic engineers,especially for their research departments.
