Re: How to join Air Force being a candidate of 12th standard? hi, if you completed 12Th examination and then you are eligible for National Defence Academy Examination, The examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a Year for the Recruitment of these three wings Army ,Naval and Air Force Wings but must be study with Maths and Physics subjects in your 12Th examination then you are eligible to apply for all the wings of NDA,who have not study Maths and Physics as a subjects in 12th class examination not eligible for Army,naval,airforce wings. Male candidates between the age of 16.5 to 20 Years age relaxation to obc/sc/st upto 5 years candidates if you completed 12Th examination and then you are eligible to apply for NDA Examination. all the best.. |

Re: How to join Air Force being a candidate of 12th standard? Hello, You can join Airforce through NDA. It is an entrance exam for Indian Defence section. NDA stands National Defence Academy. It is conducted by UPSC every year. The educational qualification for NDA is 10+2. The age limit is 18-21 years. |

Eligibilty for nda exam.A candidate must be an unmarried male and have attained the age of 16 1/2 years and must not have attained the age 19 years on the 1st January or 1st of July of the year succeeding the year of examination.candidate should be 10+2 with physics and math compulsory. First stage of examination consists of two paper of objective of math and general ability of marks 300 and 600 marks respectively. Second stage of conducted by SSB board followed by medical exam. Dates of next notification for NDA. & N.A. EXAM.(I), 2012 from 31.12.2011 to 30.01.2012 (MONDAY).date of exam 15.04.2012. |

NDA Stands for National Defense Academy, and this examination was Conducted by UPSC (Union Public service Comission) 2 Times in a year - NDA (I) and NDA (II). This year NDA (I) and (II) Examination was already completed. If you are in 12Th and Interested to Join Air force and Army, Then I will suggest you to apply for NDA Examination. NDA Eligiblity Criteria - There are 3 Wings in NDA Examination and Candidates may apply for any one of the wings - >> Army Wings >> Air force Wings >> Naval Wings. For Army Wings, You need to complete your 12Th examination in any discipline form a recognised university. But for Air force and Naval Wings, You have to complete your 12Th with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects. Age Eligiblity - >> Your age should between 16.5 to 19 years. You can join in Indian Air Force by appearing NDA exam.National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like >>Indian Air Force >>Indian Navy >>Indian Army Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam: Education qualification: For Indian Air Force/Navy:Candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream. For Indian Army:Candidate should have complete 12th class with any stream from a recognized university. Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years. Citizenship: Indian NDA-I and NDA-II exam are conducted in year, because the person who was not able to attend for NDA-I exam, he can apply for NDA-II exam in the same year, without having gap between the education. Important dates for NDA exam: NDA-I exam notification for this year: Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012. Exam will held on 15th April 2012. After qualifying in NDA exam, you have to go through the SSB interview.. Eligibility for NDA exam:- For Air force:- 1.One must have complete the 12th in science having physics and maths.. 2.One can appear in NDA exam during the year of the 12th board exam.. 3.The age should be in between 16.5-19 years... The premier and best suited entry scheme for you will be National Defence Academy (NDA) examination. NDA examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice in a year. The examination is conducted in the month of April and August every year. To be eligible for the examination, the candidate must be a male Indian candidate within the age limit of 16 1/2 to 19 years on the day of commencement of training. If the candidate is willing to join Navy or Air Force wing, than he must have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level. Other than this entry scheme, a graduate student can also join Indian Defence forces through following entry modes: CDS Examination TES Examination (For 10+2 appearing/passed students) SSC Examination Technical Entry Scheme (For Engineering degree holders) UES Examination |

Hello Arjun, To join Indian Air Force after qualifying +2 level of exam, you will have to apply for NDA exam conducted by union public service commission. If you have studied Physics and Mathematics in the +2 level, you will be eligible to write the exam. The minimum eligible age is 16 1/2 years. The maximum age limit is 19 years, which means candidates over 19 years are not eligible. After successfully qualifying the exam, you will be sent to the Air Force Academy for required training and will come out as an officer. |
