If you are in 12Th and Interested to make your Career in defense service to join Air force, then you have to apply for the NDA Examination.

NDA Stands for National Defense Academy, and this examination was Conducted by UPSC (Union Public service Comission) 2 Times in a year - NDA (I) and NDA (II). This year NDA (I) and (II) Examination was already completed.

But for Air force and Naval Wings, You have to complete your 12Th with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects.

Age Eligiblity -

>> Your age should between 16.5 to 19 years.

Notification Date for NDA (I) 2012 Examination - 31/Dec/2011

Last date of apply for NDA Examination - 30/Jan/2012

Examination date - 15/April/2012.

The Offline application form Can be Obtained form the designated post offices in India.

But I will suggest you to fill the NDA Application form Online, By visit the UPSC Official website.

To join Indian Air Force after qualifying +2 level of exam, you will have to apply for NDA exam conducted by union public service commission.
If you have studied Physics and Mathematics in the +2 level, you will be eligible to write the exam.
The minimum eligible age is 16 1/2 years.
The maximum age limit is 19 years, which means candidates over 19 years are not eligible.
After successfully qualifying the exam, you will be sent to the Air Force Academy for required training and will come out as an officer.

There are many entry schemes through which you can join Indian Defence Force or Indian Army.

The premier and best suited entry scheme for you will be National Defence Academy (NDA) examination.

For that you have to appear in NDA exam..
After qualifying in NDA exam, you have to go through the SSB interview..

Eligibility for NDA exam:-

For Air force:-

2.One can appear in NDA exam during the year of the 12th board exam..

3.The age should be in between 16.5-19 years...

yes, you can join Air Force being a candidate of 12th standard.

to join in the Air Force being a candidate of 12th standard, you have to give NDA exam.

You can join in Indian Air Force by appearing NDA exam.National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like

Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam:
Education qualification:
For Indian Air Force/Navy:Candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.
For Indian Army:Candidate should have complete 12th class with any stream from a recognized university.
Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
Citizenship: Indian

NDA-I and NDA-II exam are conducted in year, because the person who was not able to attend for NDA-I exam, he can apply for NDA-II exam in the same year, without having gap between the education.

Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.

How To Join Air Force After 12th

In order to join the armed forces after the completion of 12th..you can appear for the NDA (National Defence Academy) Exam which is conducted twice every year by the UPSC in the months of April and August..

The next NDA exam shall be conducted on 15th April,2012 for which the forms shall be available from 31st december,2011 and the last date for form submission is 30th January,2012..

In order to join the Indian Air Force..

1) You should have passed your 12th with Physics,Chemistry and Maths as your subjects

2) You should also be in the age limit of 16.5-19 years

You can join Indian Air Force through qualifying N.D.A exam.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
After qualifying this exam you can start you career in defence sector like:-

You can join Airforce through NDA. It is an entrance exam for Indian Defence section. NDA stands National Defence Academy. It is conducted by UPSC every year. The educational qualification for NDA is 10+2. The age limit is 18-21 years.

if you completed 12Th examination and then you are eligible for National Defence Academy Examination, The examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a Year for the Recruitment of these three wings Army ,Naval and Air Force Wings but must be study with Maths and Physics subjects in your 12Th examination then you are eligible to apply for all the wings of NDA,who have not study Maths and Physics as a subjects in 12th class examination not eligible for Army,naval,airforce wings.
Male candidates between the age of 16.5 to 20 Years age relaxation to obc/sc/st upto 5 years candidates if you completed 12Th examination and then you are eligible to apply for NDA Examination.
