I am doing my final year BE-CSE secured 8.2(CGPA till 6th Semester),my diplomo mark is 91%,and my 10th marks is 5.8(CBSE). will i get a chance to attend my college placement drive, or because of my 10th mark all my hard work after that will be wasted.. will i be eligible for any IT company like Wipro,infosys,cts,tcs,accenture..etc...? |

This means that if you apply for a job after your graduation then the percentage you get in your B.Tech will matter and same for your M.Tech. There are a few companies that dwell on your 10th,12th standard marks but if you have a good interview then they do not make a big fuss out of it. I think you should try and improve your marks while you still can.There are many companies if not all that will select you irrespective of your 10th,12th standard marks. |

There are many companies but most of those ask for 60% marks but apart from marks candidates should have good communication skills,experience,and other extra activities,so candidates are eligible for good companies. After that i had done diploma in IT and secured 78% and after that i had 2 yrs of gap in between .After that i had done B.E in IT and my percentages in each year are as follows 2nd year in B.E = 50% 3rd year in B.E = 70% final year in B.E = 78% Aggregate in B.E is = 66% Am i eligible in top MNC companies with this percentage? also list some of companies where i can get selected? |

Sir my problem is some like same as discussed in this conversation by others... so here i am going to tell you my score in 10th,12th & B.tech. 10th - 64 % 12th - 54 % B.tech (CS) - 64% I have also done my certification in field of java.. SCJP in 2012. I'm 2013 batch pass-out from 'Rajasthan Technical University'. and still I'm a fresher. so i request you to please give some guide line.... what should do now?? Many companies are coming to the colleges itself and recruting those who are good enough in subject knowledge, communication skills and good academic record. Here is the minimum eligibility criteria required for the candidates to get an IT job. -Completion of all the academic levels with a minimum of 60% of marks. -There should not be any pending backlogs -The academic gap should not be more than 2 years. The selection procedure would comprises of Written Exam Group Discussion Technical Interview HR Interview Having scored less than 60% of marks in all the academic levels, I think you are not eligible to make entry into MNCs. So, what I can suggest you is to learn any of the IT tool or Technology and try to for job opportunities on that in small companies. Work there for certain years and then make your entry into MNCs. Wish you all the best. |

Hello Friend, Because of the fierce competition these days,almost all the companies either private or government set an eligibility criteria of minimum 60% in graduation and most of the IT companies ask for 60% through the academics. Although there are still some companies that do ask lesser than 60%. But you will have lots of options open in some many private companies.Once you gain some experience then your percentage will not become a barrier in the path of your success. Even in some of the govt.sector too you might get a chance. So,do not lose heart,there are number of individuals who didn't secured 60% but are in good position. Good Luck. |
