Re: MSc in microbiology, good for Income? being a veteran in this field I can only wish good luck to fellows who are studying passionately, a lot of difficulties in this field, it hasn't grown as expected in last 10 years, there are only a few straight jobs one an apply for after doing MSc, after PhD things change a bit in the research field but the overall scenario is still very gloomy........ foreign companies generally don't take MSc microbiologists from india for their overseas factories, for starting one can try in bangalore, buddi, dehradoon, gangtok, goa and some places in Gujrat..... but for freshers salary and increment rate both will be very poor |

Agricultural Field- One can intialise as a junior scientist and reach upto senior scientist. |
