Re: Is SRM university degree equivalent to recognized university/institution? No. It seems only MSc Biotechnology course of SRM is recognized by Kerala university as equivalent to MSc of Kerala University. SRM university is not recognised for Kerala PSC Jobs. |

Re: Is SRM university degree equivalent to recognized university/institution? Does it make any difference whether you do your B.Tech from SRM on meerut road, Sonipat or South. The B.Tech degree is approved under UGC for all the branches? |

Yes you can surely go for ISRO examination,In SRM main campus only lot of projects are going on statellite with collbarations from ISRO officials. It is a good college with good exposure, and also a good placement as well.If you want to do research you have lot of opyopns as well. |

Its surely a recognized university by UGC(University Grant's Commission) and also approved by AICTE(All Indian Council of Technical Education). Its in the top rank list. So you don't need to worry about the college. You will have good placement opportunities. And outside the campus also there are more familiarity for this college. So you will have a bright future if you are from SRM university. |

Info On SRM University SRM University,Chennai is a Deemed University and is recognized under the UGC Act of 1956.. So,you don't have to worry about anything and you are perfectly eligible for appearing in any kind of Government Entrance Exam.. From personal experience,one of my friends who was studying in SRM University is giving the entrance exams for the government jobs and he is facing no problems..so this might be a bit reassuring for you as well.. all the best..
