SRM university degree is approved by UGC(under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956).

So don't worry .It will not create any problem for govt and central govt organization.

Info On SRM University

SRM University,Chennai is a Deemed University and is recognized under the UGC Act of 1956..

So,you don't have to worry about anything and you are perfectly eligible for appearing in any kind of Government Entrance Exam..

From personal experience,one of my friends who was studying in SRM University is giving the entrance exams for the government jobs and he is facing no problems..so this might be a bit reassuring for you as well..
