Yes, you can apply for NDA at an age of 19 years (provided by your date of birth i.e. 25-12-1993) according to the age criteria. >Introduction : NDA or National Defence Academy is a defence service entrance exam conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year. >How to Apply : A candidate can apply for NDA in two ways : 1. On-line : You can apply for NDA by registering you in the official website of UPSC along with all the information. To apply online, "Click Here". (The procedure for registering is already provided on the website itself). 2. Offline : You can apply for NDA by simply filling up the application form. The prospectus-cum application form can be obtained from the nearest post office. >Eligibility Criteria : 1. Nationality : You must be a citizen of India. 2. You are totally eligible for this examination, known as NATIONAL DE3FENCE ACADEMY [NDA], conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION [UPSC]. For appear in this examination, you must possess at least a 12th degree from the recognized board in the 10+2 pattern. But for apply in NAVAL & AIR FORCE , you must have Physics & Maths as your passing subjects in 12th with at least 60% [aggregate]. The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years, also remind that, there is not any kind age relaxations are applicable for any reserved categories. Re: Am I eligible for upcoming NDA Exam being a candidate with a date of birth of 25/12/1993? Hi Sarath, NDA is an exam conducted by UPSC expanded as National Defense Academy Exam. This exam is to choose best persons for taking a role in Defense Services. To appear in the exam you must have cleared your 12th std and if you want to join in air force or navy you must have taken science as your stream. Your age must be above 19yrs and below 21yrs. As your age is still 18 you must wait for atleast 1year to appear in the exam. |

Your Date of birth does not fulfill the age creteria of NDA Examination. Your not eligible for defence jobs through NDA Examination but you can apply for defence jobs after graduation. |

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. This is an entrance exam to join in defense in different sector.. Age eligibility for NDA exam:- 1.Candidate must have complete the age 16.5 years and must not have complete the age 18 years. But according to your date of birth , you have already completed the 18 years of age.. So, you are not eligible for NDA exam. But you can join in defense after completion of graduation through CDS exam. So, go for it.. All the best. |

The date of birth of applicant should be 2nd Jan 1994 to 1st July 1996. You are not eligible for defence jobs through NDA & NA examination but you can apply for defence jobs after graduation. You should study science or engineering in graduation so as to get officer category job in defence. |
