See friend, You are preparing for a competitive exam where you need to beat others not only in perspective of knowledge but also in time management. NCERT textbooks will help you strengthen your basics which is an absolute must. But you will have to refer to objective textbooks available that will provide you with the range of questions from every corner of the topic and also from previous years papers enabling you to get a feel of the difficulty of the exam and how solid your preparations are. By solving those questions in time will make you well prepared. There are many publications who bring out quality books. Also read magazines, they shall also help a lot. Re: Will NCERT books of 11th and 12th be sufficient to crack CBSE AIPMT? Dear friend, Since, CBSE AIPMT Exam is a competitive exam. It is a medical Entrance Exam that is conducted every year. So, you need to really work hard for this exam. Also, questions are not directly asked in this exam. You will have to be prepare for Objective Questions that are asked in AIPMT Exam. And for this, NCERT Textbooks are not sufficient, you will really need some good reference books for preparation. There are some books which are very beneficial to you if you go through them like D.C.Pandey Objective Medical Entrance Exam (Arihant Publications), Bhakta and Ghosh Entrance Chemistry, TMH Publications Concepts of Chemistry 2013, etc. |

Generall in AIPMT the questions are picked up either directly from NCERT books or similar questions are asked. Dont forget to solve the exercise questions at the end of every chapters. Those are the gold mine questions. So do the NCERT thoroughly before jumping to the next book. However doing additional books wont hurt  thank you |

Yes N.C.E.R.T is the best book for preparation for any Medical entrance exam. In my opinion you should read N.C.E.R.T first then go for other books. Remember one books hundred time is more important then reading hundred books one time. Some read any book but thoroughly. GOOD LUCK! |

NCERT books are the prescribed text books by CBSE. The NCERT text books covers almost of the necessary topics and with adequate depth. It is quite sufficient for the syllabus prescribed by AIPMT. But entrance examinations are mostly objective type. So it is always advisable to practice with ex books have objective type questions. |

Re: Will NCERT books of 11th and 12th be sufficient to crack CBSE AIPMT? hi.. according to me it is better if you refer to some other books apart from ncert books.. no doubt,ncert books give you almost all the information that you require to crack cbse aipmt but it is always better to study beyond for your extra knowledge..it will be surely helpful in your long run.. plzzzzz dont forget to refer to sample papers available in the market for the ultimate preparation.. it gives you a basic idea of what sort of questions is going to come,how you have to attempt it,what is the mark distibution of each and every topic,which questions you have to give more preference and so on... it will also give your confidence a boost and you can easily clear the entrance... hope you will succeed...Good Luck...

But you need to do preparation very systematically, you can join home based test series and practice a lot. Keep solving previous year sample papers to keep yourself upto the level of examination. |
