Hi following is the eligibility criteria for becoming CBI officer - You should be graduate from recognized college/institute - you should have atleast 50% marks in your graduation - your age should not exceed 25 years Exams is conducted in three stages known as Tier 1 Tier 2 Interview and skills testing test covers the following - Aptitude - English - Logical reasoning - general awareness - Numerical Ability All the best |

Re: Procedure to become CBI Officer? hello friend, CBI is the Central Bureau of Investigation which is the government job post entrance exam has been conducted by the UPSC SSC department Eligibility for the CBI department job post : 1. you should be passed the 10th or 12th with atleast 55% marks from any recognized institute. 2. age must be between the 21 to 25 years. 3. Indian citizen 4. Physical and medical fitness Selection process: 1. Written test 2.Interview 3. Physical and medical test Written test syllabus: 1. CBI(Central Bureau of Investigation). CBI exam is conducted by the SSC(Staff Selection Commission) once in every year. Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete graduation from a recognised university. No need of percentage restrictions to appear this exam. The candidate should be a citizen of india. Age criteria:- Minimum age--> 20 years, Maximum age--> 25years. Relaxation:- 3years for OBC candidates, 5years for SC/ST candidates. Selection process:- -->Written test, -->Personal interview. Re: Procedure to become CBI Officer? The CBI is controlled by the Ministry of Personnel headed by the Union Minister who reports directly to the Prime Minister of India. Qualifying Exam Candidates who wish to join the CBI must write the SSC combined graduate level exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission Examination. Eligibility: 1. Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to appear for this exam. 2. They must be at least 20 years at the time of applying. SC/ST/OBC candidates must be at least 30 years when they apply. 3. The candidates who qualify in the written test will be later called for a Physical Test and Interview. Examination Pattern : - a. Part I - Written Examination carrying: 400 marks i. General Test ii. General Intelligence and Reasoning iii. General Awareness iv. Numerical Ability b. If you want to become C.B.I officer you have to pass graduation with any stream from recognized university. After passing graduation you have to qualify the exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission. The age limit for S.S.C exam is 21-26 year. For ST/SC candidate 21-30 year. Re: Procedure to become CBI Officer? Dear.. First of all let me appreciate you that you have think about CBI and want to serve the nation. CBI jobs are one of the most sought for jobs for in India. If you want to become a CBI officer then you have to follow a process which will be like this :-- 1. First of all you have to apply for SSC CGLE exam 2. Then you have to take the Tier I of that exam. There will be 200 questions that you have to solve in 2 hours. Questions will be based on Maths, English, Reasoning and GK. The exam will be of objective type. then after that an All India level merit will be released and qualified candidates will move to tier II. 3. Then in Tier II you will have to go for Maths and English Paper and if you qualify that then you will be called for interview as well as physical exam. 4. After clearing all the above mentioned paper successfully you will be able to work for the Central bureau of Investigation as a Sub-Inspector. ALL THE BEST |

Re: Procedure to become CBI Officer? you have to undergo a long process as you have to write CSE(Civils Examination)in the integrated services of the CSE or there is one more method that is SSC(Staff Selection Committee exam) with this exam too The Eligibility regarding age is 21-27 years To get jobs in some of the important post of bureau you should complete your graduation in criminology field your degree must be from a recognized Indian University. you can enter into CBI as Inspector but the high level jobs are obtained by IPS \officers only SSC is also not a simple exam it also consists of 4 stages you have to clear all of them Then only you will get placed in CBI department Some times the candidates with LAW background also gets a chance to enter in to CBI Department. this is all about CBI intake of Personnel If you have any queries regarding this you can log on into The official website for the exam SSC(Staff Selection Commission)Is http://ssc.nic.in/SSC.html |

CBI i.e Central bureau of Investigation is one of the a specialized wing in India which deals with many popular cases with police and finds out the motive of the crime and the culprit . To join in CBI you need to write the CGPE EXAM also called SSC conducted by UPSC every year for recruitment in the CBI.The examination is done for the following post :: Senior Public Prosecutor (SPP). Sub-Inspector Assistant Public Prosecutor Pattern of the examination :: The examination is done in three phases :: Written test Interview Medical Test. The paper in examination consists of following questions General Intelligence Reasoning General Awareness Numerical Aptitude English Comprehension Eligibility :: You should be between 20-25 years as on 1st January of the year of examination. The upper age limit may be relaxed in respect of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes. You must posses degree of a recognized University. |
