CBI: Central Bureau of Investigation

This is one of the Trusted Investigation group of India

But you have to undergo a long process as you have to write CSE(Civils Examination)in the integrated services of the CSE or there is one more method that is SSC(Staff Selection Committee exam) with this exam too

The Eligibility regarding age is 21-27 years

To get jobs in some of the important post of bureau

you should complete your graduation in criminology field

your degree must be from a recognized Indian University.

you can enter into CBI as Inspector but the high level jobs are obtained by IPS \officers only

SSC is also not a simple exam it also consists of 4 stages you have to clear all of them

Then only you will get placed in CBI department

Some times the candidates with LAW background also gets a chance to enter in to CBI Department.

this is all about CBI intake of Personnel

*The candidates should be a graduate from any discipline , from a recognize university.
*The age limit is 22 - 30 yrs,
relaxation for sc / st & obc candidates.

To join as CBI officer you need to appear for Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam conducted by SSC.

* Candidates should have a graduation from a recognized university.
* The age limit must be within 21 to 27 for general category.
* The age limit must be up to 35 years for SC/ST candidates.
* The age limit must be up to 33 years for OBC candidates.

Attempts:

For General category - 4 attempts.
For SC/ST category - No limit
For OBC category - 7 attempts

To join in CBI you need to write the CGPE EXAM also called SSC conducted by UPSC

If your aspiring to become a CBI Officer than you have to appear in Staff Selection Commission Entrance Examination ..

First of all let me appreciate you that you have think about CBI and want to serve the nation. CBI jobs are one of the most sought for jobs for in India. If you want to become a CBI officer then you have to follow a process which will be like this :--

1. First of all you have to apply for SSC CGLE exam

2. Then you have to take the Tier I of that exam. There will be 200 questions that you have to solve in 2 hours. Questions will be based on Maths, English, Reasoning and GK. The exam will be of objective type. then after that an All India level merit will be released and
qualified candidates will move to tier II.

3. Then in Tier II you will have to go for Maths and English Paper and if you qualify that then you will be called for interview as well as physical exam.

4. After clearing all the above mentioned paper successfully you will be able to work for the Central bureau of Investigation as a Sub-Inspector.

If you want to become C.B.I officer you have to pass graduation with any stream from recognized university.

After passing graduation you have to qualify the exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission.

The age limit for S.S.C exam is 21-26 year.
For ST/SC candidate 21-30 year.

Only Indian are eligible for this exam.

The CBI is controlled by the Ministry of Personnel headed by the Union Minister who reports directly to the Prime Minister of India.

Qualifying Exam
Candidates who wish to join the CBI must write the SSC combined graduate level exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission Examination.

Eligibility:
1. Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to appear for this exam.
2. They must be at least 20 years at the time of applying. SC/ST/OBC candidates must be at least 30 years when they apply.
