CBI: Central Bureau of Investigation

This is one of the Trusted Investigation group of India

But you have to undergo a long process as you have to write CSE(Civils Examination)in the integrated services of the CSE or there is one more method that is SSC(Staff Selection Committee exam) with this exam too

The Eligibility regarding age is 21-27 years

To get jobs in some of the important post of bureau

you should complete your graduation in criminology field

your degree must be from a recognized Indian University.

you can enter into CBI as Inspector but the high level jobs are obtained by IPS \officers only

SSC is also not a simple exam it also consists of 4 stages you have to clear all of them

Then only you will get placed in CBI department

Some times the candidates with LAW background also gets a chance to enter in to CBI Department.

to became a CBI officer there are some criteria like.......
*The candidates should be a graduate from any discipline , from a recognize university.
*The age limit is 22 - 30 yrs,
relaxation for sc / st & obc candidates.

To become a CBI(Central Bureau of Investigation) officer:

To join as CBI officer you need to appear for Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam conducted by SSC.

* Candidates should have a graduation from a recognized university.
* The age limit must be within 21 to 27 for general category.
* The age limit must be up to 35 years for SC/ST candidates.
* The age limit must be up to 33 years for OBC candidates.

Attempts:

For General category - 4 attempts.
For SC/ST category - No limit
For OBC category - 7 attempts

i want to be higher lavel officer of CBI officer,give me some suggetion about this?

you need to apply and get selected by staff selection board for staff ranks or get selected for IPS and go to CBI on deputation

CBI i.e Central bureau of Investigation is one of the a specialized wing in India which
deals with many popular cases with police and finds out the motive of the crime and the
culprit .

To join in CBI you need to write the CGPE EXAM also called SSC conducted by UPSC
every year for recruitment in the CBI.The examination is done for the following post ::

Senior Public Prosecutor (SPP).
Sub-Inspector
Assistant Public Prosecutor

Pattern of the examination ::

The examination is done in three phases ::

Written test
Interview
Medical Test.

The paper in examination consists of following questions

General Intelligence Reasoning
General Awareness
Numerical Aptitude
English Comprehension


Eligibility ::

You should be between 20-25 years as on 1st January of the year of examination. The
upper age limit may be relaxed in respect of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes,
Other Backward Classes.

You must posses degree of a recognized University.
