You can also have a chance to get job through the marks of GATE because many companies (private or government) offer you for job through GATE. All the best.......... |

Re: Will GATE help me to do M.Tech after my B.Tech? If you dont want to do M.tech then Gate score card is helpful in companies like POWER GRID, BHEL, NTPC, ONGC, SAIL , ISRO. and if you want to do researc studies then Bhaba Atomic Research center also sometimes accept GATE score card |

Re: Will GATE help me to do M.Tech after my B.Tech? GATE exam is an entrance exam which is aimed at selecting the students for the various M.Tech programs in IIT's, NIT's and other colleges in India. But GATE exam is necessary only for the M.tech admissions.There is no other use for this Exam.But If you are preparing for some entrance exam for any other similar course or for getting a job in some good company then definitely there is a lot of syllabus from which you can learn a lot and can secure a good score too. So to have a knowledge about this exam in your particular field is fruitful for you in future. |

Re: Will GATE help me to do M.Tech after my B.Tech? dear friend, First of all one thing you have to clear that both M.E. and M.Tech. degree are same.Both have the same syllabus.Generally Government universities give the degree of M.E. and private collage/universities give the degree of M.Tech..So after completion of B.Tech one can pursue its M.E. or M.Tech.Both are the same master degree. As you are a student of Electronics Engineering then after B.Tech you can do any of them.There are so many option/subjects among which you can choose any one in your master degree. These subjects are .... 1. Digital Electronics 2. Antenna 3. Analog Communication 4. Digital Communication 5. Basic Electronics 6. VLSI etc. The subject which you like most and want to learn and also want to pursue your master degree, you can choose it and make your carrier. all the best. |

GATE is best exam for M.Tech.by scoring good marks in GATE exam you can get chance of M.Tech from IIT college.IIT colleges are best college for M.Tech. You should apply for GATE exam .todays GATE markshet is necessary to apply for job.if you don't have GATE scorecard then you can't apply for those job. You should apply for GATE exam.scorecard of GATE exam is very important. |

To get admission in M.tech course you have to qualify in GATE exam.. Eligibility for GATE exam:- 1.Candidate has to complete the graduation in fields like-BE/B.tech/B.Arch or, Candidate has to complete the post graduation in fields like-MBA/MCA/M.Sc 2.Final year candidate of graduation and post graduation course can also apply for it.. 3.No age limit.. 4.No number of attempt restriction.. These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill to appear in GATE exam.. All the best. |

Hi GATE is the short form of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and it is basically an entrance exam which is aimed at selecting the students for the various M.Tech programs in IIT's, NIT's and other colleges in India. If you want to apply for GATE, then you must satisfy the following Eligibility Criteria's :: 1. You should be a minimum graduate in B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharmacy from a recognized college or university in India. 2. There is no age or attempt limits for GATE. 3. The final years students can apply, but the pre final year students are not eligible to apply for the GATE Exam. Now as you ask, Yes GATE is the entrance exam for M.Tech only. So yes it would definitely help you to take up M.Tech in some good college in India. -> Firstly you have to apply for this exam, and appear in it. -> Then you would get an All India Rank and a GATE score based on what you would be called for counselling if you crack it. -> There you can select your choice of campus and course that you want to study in your M.Tech. GATE exam is based on the subjects that a aspirant has studied in their bachelor degree in engineering. This will widen your knowledge in the field. If you continue in the same field then GATE will surely help you. It is a online exam with negative marks also. GATE exam is valid for a duration of two years and with the help of the exam you can apply for masters degree in engineering in colleges in India. If you prepare for GATE then you can do well in the masters degree also. Further you can apply for the public sector units with the help of it also. |
