2 papers are held in first session and 1 paper in the second session There will be 60 questions of 1 mark each in Paper 1 out of which only 50 have to be attempted. There will be 50 questions of 1 mark each in Paper 2. All are compulsory Paper 3 consist of 75 questions of 2 marks each, all questions are compulsory. The duration of the paper 1 and 2 will be 1¼ Hours each and 2.5 hour for paper 3. For computer science you can study these books - UGC/NET/SLET computer science and application by G.K. Publication UGC/NET/SLET computer science and application PaperII and Paper III by Upkar Prakashan UGC/NET/SLET computer science and Guide by R.Gupta Modern UGC/NET/SLET computer science by A team of Experts UGC/NET/SLET computer science by Sawtantar Singh I am also attaching the syllabus with some previous year papers form computer science |

The Test is conducted in Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Forensic Science, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science. Syllabus of NET in Computer science: There will be two question papers, UGC NET CS Paper II and Paper III ( Part-A & B ). UGC NET CS Paper II will cover 50 Objective Type Questions carrying 100 marks. UGC NET CS Paper III will have two Parts-A and B; Paper III (A) will have 10 short essay type questions carrying 16 marks each. In it there will be one question with internal choice from each unit ( i.e.. 10 questions from 10 units; Total marks will be 160 ). UGC NET CS Paper II : 1. Discrete Structures 2. Computer Arithmetic 3. Programming in C and C++ 4. Relational Database Design and SQL 5. Data and File structures 6. Current Trends and Technologies UGC NET CS Paper III (A) Core Group Unit-I : Combinational Circuit Design, Sequential Circuit Design, Hardwired and Microprogrammed processor design. Unit-II : Database Concepts, ER diagrams, Data Models, Design of Relational Database, Normalisation, SQL and QBE, Query Processing and Optimisation. Unit-III : 1.Display systems, Input devices, 2D Geometry, Graphic operations, 3D Graphics, Animation, Graphic standard, Applications. 2.Concepts, Storage Devices, Input Tools, Authoring Tools, Application, Files. UGC NET CS Paper III (B) ( Elective / Optional ): 1.Theory of Computation 2.Context free Grammars 3.Linear Bounded Automata ( LBA ) 4.Chomsky Hierarchy of languages : Recursive and recursively-enumerable languages. |

UGC NET Syllabus 2012 UGC NET Syllabus 2012 :- Hello everyone, Welcome to University Grant Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) syllabus 2012 section. Here in this section we will be provide you complete details about UGC NET syllabus 2012. Every year UGC conducts an entrance test NET for recruits the Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and Lecturers in Science and Arts subjects. The candidates can download their UGC NET Syllabus from UGC online official website www.ugc.ac.in/inside/syllabus.html or the UGC syllabus is available on to the All Indian Library. UGC Exam Pattern :- UGC NET exam is to be divide into the three papers. Paper 1- The first paper is to be related general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It is designed to check the test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness. There are 60 objective type question candidates are need to be solved only 50 questions that is depends on to the candidates choices. Paper 2 - Paper 2 is subjective type question paper. There are 50 compulsory questions and 2 marks noted for each question. The candidate will be have to mark the responses for questions of Paper-I and Paper-II on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheet provided along with the Test Booklet. The detailed instructions for filling up the OMR Sheet will be sent to the candidate along with the Admit Card. Paper 3 – This paper is only descriptive type questions paper. Candidates are required to attempt questions in the space provided in the Test Booklet. |

The NET exam date is18-12-2011 But still UGC have not published application brochure . The application details will be published in 26th September,2011.So you have to prepare well for NET exam. There are one declaration is announced UGC . No negative Marking in Paper-I and Paper -II exam. Online form will available after 26th September. The examination was Going to be held on 24/Dec/2011.
