Hi..!! * For civil service exam one need to have very much aware and sound knowledge in every subject. *you have to read your syllabus very carefully as well very confidently. *you should have full knowledge about politics,government etc. *one should be properly prepared from basics. all the best....go ahead!! |

Re: When to start preparation for UPSC civil services? Hi frend, No you are not too late for preparation of UPSC. The basic eligibility for civil searvice is graduation with age less then 30year. All you have is to start reading national newspaper, magzine and year book. After you complete degree you should join coaching and start preperation. Remember you have to give your maximum concentration and hard work for success. Good luck |

Sir, Is the age limit is considered as on the date of writing the Prelims or Main exam or Is the age limit is considered as on Aug 1st of that year irrespective of the date of Prelims and main exam. Please let me know as it really helps me to plan my studies as i am not sure till what year I am eligible to write the Civils exam. My DOB is 17-08-1980 and belongs to BC category. Just by analyzing that decide yourself of how many hours to spend in a hour for the preparation. be optimistic and put your best efforts, know th shortcuts very well and go through some previous papers.
