You have mentioned that you have got very good marks, so this show that you an intelligent girl. you have also mentioned that you are a hard work girl and don`t want to go in the engineering field, so MBA degree will be best for you , in case of some technical field you can choose the IT MBA. You should be fight the CAT and MAT entrance exam for the MBA, i think you will get a very nice college, and your future will be good. best of luck. |

However if you do not want to do MCA after BCA then you have a MBA is second good option after MCA.. MBA is management course i.e. Master in business management it is good course and job placement in this field is also good.. You can go for MBA.. or you can go for MSc which is also master degree and good course.. Now decision in your hand what you choose.. |

I wana to know which area will better to take admission. I Have also done QTP course from hydrabad. I have intrest on TESTING . please suggest me. |

Re: Options for BCA students except MCA? dear friend MCA is a good option to do after BCA it will give you more salary, status and also you can work with foreign companies. but as you are not interested in MCA so still there are lots of options for you like MBA M.SC(IT) I wil suggest you to go for MBA. it has great demand and different from your field. you will get handsome salary in this field. otherwise you can also apply for jobs after BCA in IT firms like TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO,IBM and many more. all the best. |

HI PRAGYA, there are many career oppurtunities in bca and after that. only 1 drawback is that you are not intrested in mca..............., there is no way in any IT or SOFTWARE FEILD,they have to join MCAin NAY REPUTED UNIVERSITY, as it is equivalent to B.Ein hiring point veiw of jobs in such companies............ otherwise you can join mba,can go with MS. For example if you want to do something different apart from this technical line.. then you can step on the field of animation...RACE animation is a very good institute in hyderabad..http://www.race-india.com/ Where they provide probably the best courses in the country.. Re: Options for BCA students except MCA? dear friend Getting admission for BCA course is too easy, but the job availability is too less for only BCA pass out. BCA degree is of no importance today. The best option after BCA is to get admission in MCA course. MCA course can be applied by other people also like B.Sc. Pass out. except MCA BCA students will go for doing MBA................ Job opportunity in call center for BCA pass out is higher, but in call center 10+2 pass out can also apply for the same post. other wise YOU can prepare for UPSC. Dear friend, ur future must be bright as u secured 92% in 10th and 89% in 12th i.e.,u r intelligent in education. as u r a good student u may go in this side whatever u want. if u dont wanna MCA u can do M.Sc in CS after that Ph.D on that subject,otherwise,MBA ,CA,ICWA are the another options to u. Re: Options for BCA students except MCA? dear friend If one wishes to become a Software Developer or web-designer or wants to take up a career in Systems Management, then BCA is the best course to get an early start. If the technical field interests you more, then MCA is a better choice, particularly if you would like to have a career in software development or databases etc. However if you are interested in pursuing management as a career, then an MBA in IT or HR or Operations might be good to evaluate. If you are keen to work in IT, you will need to back up your CV with a MCA and/or some relevant certifications like MCSE and CCNA for Networking or a DST for Testing. It may be a good idea to do a course in a couple of development platforms like Java, J2EE, C++, Dot Net or Mainframes and then apply to software companies. You could go in for a course in Web Development and E-commerce technologies. Normally this course is of not more than one to one and half year duration and should cover technologies like ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, C++, XML, SQL Server, E-commerce concepts, Java and JavaScript. best of luck |

But I have joined in a MNC company and learned something different (not related to BCA) MLT department and now I am doing a ITC certified course related to purchase for changing my career as best. I suggest you to try this also. |
