Re: How to get into Indian Army after B.Tech in ECE? After B.Tech (ECE) you will join Indian Army through SSB (Staff Selection Board). Indian Army is a central government organisation. Indian Army open this vacancy only for the technical candidates. Indian Army recruit the candidates from all India entrance exam. Minimum percentage criteria is 65 % and Minimum Age Limit is 18 to 27 years for General candidates. In this exam there is 6 to 7 rounds i.e. 1. Written Exam 2. Group Discussion 3. IQ Test 4. Physical 5. Cycological Test 6. Medical Test & 7. Personal Interview. |

Re: How to get into Indian Army after B.Tech in ECE? dear friend plz completed your graduation level, then you can apply for Indian Army. some selection procedure: CDS Exam by the Union Public Service Commission to recuirt the 1.IMA, 2.OTA, 3.AFA Eligibility Criteria Education: i)For IMA and OTA you must have any degree from any recognized University. ii)For Naval Academy you should have B.Sc in Physics or Mathematics or BE. iii)For AFA you should have the degree of recognized University with science at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering(BE) Age Limit: i)For IMA:19-24 Years ii)For OTA:19-23 Years iii)For Naval Academy:19-22 Years iv)For AFA :19-25 Years They select the students through the i) Written Test ii)Intelligence & Personality test iii)Medical test. |

Re: How to get into Indian Army after B.Tech in ECE? You can get into army after B.Tech as graduate entry - permanent commission Exam is Combined Defense Services this is conducted by upsc age limit naval academy 19-22 years air force academy 19-23 years exam consist of english, gk, mathematics |

Re: How to get into Indian Army after B.Tech in ECE? Hello Sir..! I am goining to complete my 12th this year in science....My D.O.B. is 27/10/1991.. I am going to pursue B.B.B. in finance...!! I am very very much interested in goining in army and serve my COUNTRY, and this was my father last wish also.. so please tell me what procedure i should take to enter into army....!! |

Well, Indian Army is an exciting,thrilling,adventurous,and high profile career for young men.If you are in engineering field,then you can join through University Entry Scheme.All pre final and final year students can apply for this.Indian Army will call you up for an interview,there is no written exam for this.If you pass this interview,then they will notify you and call you up for the SSB interview.If you can clear this SSB,then you are allowed to undergo 1 year training at IMA. All the best!! |

Re: How to get into Indian Army after B.Tech in ECE? dear, Indian army is an inspiring,thrilling,adventurous career.So if you want to be in Indian Army,you can join through university entry scheme,all pre-final and final year students year can apply for this.After a interview by the Indian army,they will call you up for the SSB interview which is notified to you by them,If you can clear the SSB interview then you will be called up for the training to be held for 1 year course at Indian Military Academy. Re: How to get into Indian Army after B.Tech in ECE? As an Indian Army Engineer, you could be a part of any of the three elite corps of Engineers, Bombay Spares Madras Engineers Bengal Engineers. Two Options available a) Permanent Commission b) Short Service Commission In short service Commission you can serve for 5 years and have an option to quit the army. you can apply following ways 1.)Technical Entry Graduates IMA exam mostly held in January and July and age should be 20 to 27 Years and mode of selection is Direct SSB.. 2.)SS Commission not fixed and after completion of b.tech chech with related dates in employement news. 3.)OTA –Technical Entry held in May and Oct/ Nov and age should be between 19 to 25 and mode is Direct SSB all the best!!! |
