i am doing my b.tech 1st year and my branch is electronics and communication tell me how can i get into Indian army

You can get into the Indian army by qualifying in the CDS (Combined Defense Service) exam.This exam is carried out by the UPSC.Go through the site: www.upsc.gov.in

You have to take NDA or CDSE exams in order to get into Indian Army.
You should learn the basic subjects like Maths, Physics< Chemistry, Biology and English in order to perform well in these exams.

it depends on what kind of role you want to play in the Indian army.
if you want an combative role then you should write the cds exam.
if you want to join the engineering wing of the army then you have to write the exams conducted by Indian military services,

As an Indian Army Engineer, you could be a part of any of the three elite corps of Engineers,

Bombay Spares
Madras Engineers
Bengal Engineers.

Two Options available

a) Permanent Commission
b) Short Service Commission

In short service Commission you can serve for 5 years and have an option to quit the army.
you can apply following ways
1.)Technical Entry Graduates IMA exam mostly held in January and July and age should be 20 to 27 Years and mode of selection is Direct SSB..
2.)SS Commission not fixed and after completion of b.tech chech with related dates in employement news.
3.)OTA –Technical Entry held in May and Oct/ Nov and age should be between 19 to 25 and mode is Direct SSB

Indian army is an inspiring,thrilling,adventurous career.So if you want to be in Indian Army,you can join through university entry scheme,all pre-final and final year students year can apply for this.After a interview by the Indian army,they will call you up for the SSB interview which is notified to you by them,If you can clear the SSB interview then you will be called up for the training to be held for 1 year course at Indian Military Academy.

Indian Army is an exciting,thrilling,adventurous,and high profile career for young men.If you are in engineering field,then you can join through University Entry Scheme.All pre final and final year students can apply for this.Indian Army will call you up for an interview,there is no written exam for this.If you pass this interview,then they will notify you and call you up for the SSB interview.If you can clear this SSB,then you are allowed to undergo 1 year training at IMA.

Indian Army is a central government organisation. Indian Army open this vacancy only for the technical candidates.

Indian Army recruit the candidates from all India entrance exam.

Minimum percentage criteria is 65 % and Minimum Age Limit is 18 to 27 years for General candidates.

In this exam there is 6 to 7 rounds i.e.

1. Written Exam 2. Group Discussion 3. IQ Test 4. Physical 5. Cycological Test 6. Medical Test & 7. Personal Interview

Eligibility Criteria

Education:
i)For IMA and OTA you must have any degree from any recognized University.

ii)For Naval Academy you should have B.Sc in Physics or Mathematics or BE.

iii)For AFA you should have the degree of recognized University with
science at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering(BE)

Age Limit:

i)For IMA:19-24 Years
ii)For OTA:19-23 Years
iii)For Naval Academy:19-22 Years
