Re: Eligibility of TCS recruitment for MCA Students hello sir I am Avik i secured 76.87% marks in 10th ,69.4% marks in 12,and in graduation 63.5% marks in hons paper(as per as calcutta university norms only hons marks are taken into consideration)but if I calculate the pass paper it will get down to 59.2%( the pass marks are not taken into consideration.The total marks are given there by calculating the hons marks),and currently i am pursuing MCA with 8.41 in average.Am i eligible for wipro or TCS? |

There are some companies which give importance to the marks of 10 and 12..but there are many other good mnc companies which are offering jobs not on the basis of marks and acedmics but they focus on your practical knowledge and your ability to solve logical problems. So do not tense and improve your knowledge and crack the interviews of good companies .. Best of luck. Have a great future ahead |

Got through Walkin at IBM, and now he is working for IBM on an International project. thanks |

Yes after graduation you can apply for both LLB is law course and mca is a professional course. The entrance exam of almost every where of MCA contains math e.g In JNU MCA entrance exam the question contains BSc maths. in bhu mcs there is also a math of 12th standard. So it is good for because you are good in maths. |

Also have onsite experience as well. And I have done e trembly well in my career. Now I want to join TCS but I am lagging in my 12th mark. I have 74% in 10th 48% in 12 and 65% in my engineering. I would like to know if I am eligible to join ever TCS or should I leave dreaming about TCS. Thanks in advance for your answer. Wishing to seeany reply if somebody is aware of any such case. Eligibility criteria for TCS: Candidate should have complete minimum graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university.And should have above 60% marks till the previous year education. As you have complete MCA course,so you can apply, if you have above 60% throughout education qualification. Here is the some of previous years of tcs,which give the idea about the exam pattern. |

Because TCS put the criteria of 60% marks through out, means if you got 60% marks in 10th, +2 ,B.Sc as well as in MCA also, then you are eligible. As you got only 59.68% marks in B.Sc, then you will not appear in TCS. You can try for other companies. After getting some experience you will be selected in TCS as per your job experience.
