Sir,
i want to ask about the TCS criteria for fresher.
I hav got 65% in 10th,
61.33% in 12th,
59.68% in BSc and 67% in MCA.
I am also MCTS Certified.
My graduation marks are below 60.
So, should i eligible for company criteria.
Plz, reply me...

Well, dear generally TCS has 3 types of recruitment Plans.

1) Campus Recruitment

2) Off-Campus Recruitment

3) Direct Walkin.

As per the qualification details provided by you basically you would be eligible for "Off-Campus Recruitment" thats because you haven't got "Campusing" and "Direct Walkin is generally meant for experiance holders.

Well, for Off-Campus Recruitment Eligibility criteria is that-

A) Candidate must have at least 60% aggregate Xth, XIIth, Graduation and Post Graduation also.

B) Candidates must not have fresh backlogs. Means if you are apeearing for recruitment in 2011 then you shouldn't have any backlogs at that time, time of recruitment

C) If candidate has any Educational Gap, then it should not be more then of 2 years and a Valid Reason should be associated with it.

So, everything seems fine except your "Graduation" result in which you have less then 60%. So you are not eligible in terms of companies eligibility criterias.

So, in this situation the Only think which can help you is to opt for any other company acquire at least 2+ of experiance and then you can go through "Direct Walkin" because walkins are different things it is based on companies requirement at that time, and there thigs with education qualification are not give much waitage that time.

For your Inspiration:- A Person(cant mention his details) has also same problem. His graduation and MCA were perfect (Gold Medalist), but his aggregate of 1oth & 12th were very low. He doesn't get job in company of his choice "IBM"
He stars working in companies like- Genisys, mphasis and acquire 3+ experiance. Got through Walkin at IBM, and now he is working for IBM on an International project.

it depends on the requirement of the company,
as you have don mca i don't think that the your bad average in bachelors degree will affect your job prospects in the company,
i would suggest you to apply as soon as there is an opening

I am very sorry to say as per the educational details provided by you are not eligible for placement in TCS initially.TCS generally has three type of recruitments:-
1.On-campus
2.Off-campus
3.direct walkin.
the criteria for off-campus is that you should have 60% marks all throught your career.but since you have less than 60% marks in graduation you are not eligible.but dont get dishearted.you can apply to other companies and get experience and then apply for TCS through direct walkin.after having experience they dont want educational qualifications.

The recuitment in TCS is similar to other companies. They either recruit through campus or off campus.
They advertise their vaccancies and you can appear for them.
As far as recruitment is concerned they only search for talented hard working guys with extra qualifications.
your marks are good which shows that you are hard working individual.
So you can apply for the vaccancies as you have the required qualifications

well friend
tcs elgibility criteria is career 60%.............so you are not eligible for tcs.
dont waste time after tcs .there are also more and more company where u can
grow up...

sorry to sy dear but tcs is the company which require placement criteria between 60-65/70% you can try another company.which is small

As per the criteria for freshers in TCS, you are not eligible for recruitment.
Because TCS put the criteria of 60% marks through out, means if you got 60% marks in 10th, +2 ,B.Sc as well as in MCA also, then you are eligible.
As you got only 59.68% marks in B.Sc, then you will not appear in TCS.

You can try for other companies.
After getting some experience you will be selected in TCS as per your job experience.

The criteria of TCS is you must have 60% aggregate throughout your career..

As you have less than 60% marks in your graduation, then it will be difficult for you to get a job in TCS..

so, I will suggest you to go for some small software companies , gain some experience there and after 2 or 3 years you can apply for TCS..

if really want to getting into TCS..

Well, if you are Interested in Law, then just opt for a career in Law.

As you mentioned you are good in MAths, but dont worry for it even if you have to leave the subject for fulfulling the career of choice, and remember MAths is a thing which will help you in any sector.

So, Opting for LLB is a good option, and since you are from comerrce backgroung "Corporate Law" is will best suites you.

for eligible in a TCS , you must have 60% through out the acadmic carrier.

also you should have at least 60% marks in the MCA as a minimum qualification..

and also there should not be gap of the more than two years between the two courses.

like between 10th 12th, or between 12th and BCA.

You can get placed in TCS through direct walk in or campus recruitment.TCS requires its candidates to have at least 60% marks from X standard till graduation/ post graduation. You may try in TCS; if you fail you can try in some other companies.

tcs is a big man power company,

so if you want to go for this compnay then prepare well the apptitue test.

and have a good knowledge about c /c++.

The demand of TCS is that the carrier of the candidate must me 1st class...then only you are eliggible for TCS....you can also check their official site for more details...

i completed 10 2 in commerce stream and i completed B.Sc(IT) from distance mode. i want to know what are colleges or entrance exams i can opt for.

according to your information all are correct and suitable for recruitment for TCS .
My suggestion is that to go through the book GRE Barron..
and for aptitude follow R.S. Agarwal

I cant say exactly that you are not eligible for TCS, since TCS do want that a complete 60% criteria for job, but if you apply from science graduate field, there they have some less percentage criteria(55%). You may visit following link to get your status of recruitment profile in TCS:

If ,after filling the form , would produce a DT number then you are eligible for forthcoming TCS campus call . TCS will call you at the venue written by you in that form , when they visit there.

Yes, you can try out for your indusrial training in TCS if they find you elligible and interested in you they will provide you industrial training.
the thing which you need to do is that just prepare your Biodata along with covering letter and get it forwarded by your placement officer and post to tcs head office.
If they are interseted in you they will make areply for it.
You can also mail them your resume

as per criteria for freshers candidate in TCS, you are not eligible
Because TCS put the criteria of 60% marks ,means if you have must
60% marks in 10th, +2 ,B.Sc ,MCA also, then you are eligible.
As you have 59.68% marks in B.Sc, then you will not appear for job in TCS.

dear friend,

though you have MCA degree.then you will be eligible for apply jobs in TCS.you can get job through campus interview,or direct walkin interview or special recruitment.

search at TCS website,through out the year they recruit.for notification you need to be update through the website.

to join in TCS your minimum marks should be 60% throughout the career for the fresher in off campus or on campus recruitment.

but unfortunate you have not 60% marks in one examination. so you are not eligible for TCS.

but you may go for other company who have not such criterion. or you may try for walk in interview in TCS after some work experience in other company.

As far as TCS is concerned they recruit those candiadatye who have overall first division.

but then also I will suggest you apply fo the vaccancies in TCS to try whether you can get job overthere.
You can also register your resume on th e website of TCs. There are many post for which they can recruit you
