Re: What's the age limit for B.Ed? i have 3yrs gap after 12th std...i hv done my graduation from IGNOU with political sc as a major subject.... my present age is 32 and i want to give TET & CTET ...as b.ed course is compulsory for these 2 exams ,,firstly i want to know am i eligible for b.ed course as my age is 32? secondly,, pls is there any institution/ university in kolkata where i can take admission? 3) or is there any recognized instution or university for correspondence course( but i dont have 2 yrs teaching experience)? |

Re: What's the age limit for B.Ed? hi,  MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY FOR APPLYING FOR B.ED ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 1.GRADUATION (B.SC,B.COM,BA)FROM RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY WITH AT LEAST 50% MARKS. B.ED can be done regular or from distance education. There are many university which offers B.ED. ALMOST ALL reputed university conduct entrance exam for taking candidate into their college for B.ED course. or fill candidates in the course on the basis of merits. you must first decide the university/institution from where you would like to do your B.ED. Than fill the form for entrance exam. score well in the exam. get the seat in the college. thank you.............................. |

Re: What's the age limit for B.Ed? Don’t worry there is no Maximum age limit for the B.ED course to register and you can appear for the entrance exams of the B.ED colleges anytime. Who have completed graduation or post graduation from recognized university are applicable for B.Ed course. Your graduation or post graduation marks must be hold above 45% . For SC/ST candidate this marks is decreased to above 40% marks for only distance B.Ed course.Every university conduct their own entrance exam for B.Ed candidate selection. Only Arts and Science departments are eligible for B.Ed course.There are some institute provide B.Ed course for B.Com and BBA candidates. The Duration of the exam is 1 hour and 30 minutes and the exam consists of Multiple choice type questions and the paper also has negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. Thanks... |

To apply for B.ed course----------------------- *You have to complete the graduation course in any trade from a recognized university. *You have to secure 50% aggregate in graduation course. *No upper age limit. So, you just don't bother about your age.. There is no such age requirement.. Just complete the graduation course and then go for it.. All the best. |

Re: What's the age limit for B.Ed? Hai, there is no age limit for the B.Ed so no need to worry for dear. If you are interested to do the B.Ed just go through the following details: Eligibility Criteria for this course : You must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University. Your aggregate in your Graduation must be min of 50% . You must be a Graduate in 10+2+3 pattern. There must be no active back subjects in the Graduation and also in your previous academic career. You are mostly preferred for B.Ed course if your Graduation must be from : Bachelor of Arts(B.A), Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). And and there is no Age Limits for this course. This is the only course in India which do nothave any Age Limits for getting into it. So if you satisfy the Educational Criteria limits, then you are eligible to get into this course at any stage of your life. All the best. |

COURSE This is one year Bachelor Of Education Degree Programme in education stream. You can apply for this course after completion of graduation. It is one year programme for regular & two year for correspondence. After completing that you are able to attend TET & CTET. It helps to develop the teacher's competency in order to make the experience of 'teacher-learner' more effective in the secondary stages of school. Students wanting to join teaching line or in teaching profession sit for B.Ed,now the central Government is thinking to make B.Ed compulsory for to sit for SSC(Staff Selection Commity).
